I saw some stuff on this game ages ago, and now I suddenly see adverts that it's out. Has anybody played this? is it any good (for PS2 anyway, since that's the system I have)?

Hey,let's make a game with a hot chick that just shoots everything! Yeah! She should gave two guns! One in each hand! Yeah! .....She should kill... Nazis! Everyone hates Nazis! Yeah! And she could have superpowers! Yeah! She could be a superhero! Yeah!...no. She can be a vampire! Yeah! She could kill guys and suck their blood! Yeah! Can we make her extreme?! Sure,why the hell not! She'll be a proactive gun-toting blood eating vampiress that kills evil Nazis!........Yeah!

Granted this game sounded cool,but it's not. weep.

Can we have bullet time?! Yeah!..............

Please. In the field of video gaming, WW2 is so overused. It had its day, and it only feels right when its a Medal of Honor game.

Actually, I played the demo and found it quite fun. No, it's not innovative but it does have some particularily fun elements: fast gameplay, a cool-but-overused slo-mo ability, and bloodsucking your enemies by harpoon them is pretty cool.

Of course, that's from the demo so I'm guessing the final game is probably rental-worthy.

i believe the character is actually an offshoot of a character from Nocturne (developed by the same guys), which was set in the 1930s. setting Bloodrayne in WWII actually makes some sort of sense in the world of game logic.

no idea how the actual game is, though.

Eh, I played the demo of Primal. Beautiful but I'm wondering, aside from the okay combat system, just why the game's puzzles seem pretty uninspired.
