Let's just hope the GBA version is like TMNT IV: Turtles in Time for the SNES.

Darn right.

Turtles in Time was good stuff. I'd be happy with a port of the old arcade game.

I had my name in GamePro for beating Fall of the Foot Clan for the original Game Boy. I thought I was cool.

Now we just need a new Battle Toads game and all will be right with the world.

What issue was it?

Are the new TV series and CGI movie still going ahead? Because I was under the impression that Konami were left a bit high and dry on this one - like they signed up for the revival of the Turtles franchise, only for the promised movies and TV shows to fizzle out, leaving them with a game based on...nothing.

Now that I think about it, it was an issue of GamePro's S.W.A.T. (Secret Weapons and Tactics) that the score made it into. It had Battletoads on the cover. My mom actually had a big framed and matted display made for me at Christmas that year. It was neat, I still have it.

I also sent an extra-lives tip for the SNES Simpsons game that made it into GamePro (coincidentally, also a Battletoads cover).

Ahh, my fleeting brushes with fame.

I don't know about the CGI movie, but the new series is premiering on Fox next month, and there's a new toy line in stores right now (a very nice toy line, I might add). As a person whose entire childhood was spent watching the old TMNT cartoon and playing with the toys, I'm glad to see them back again. I'll definitely be keeping my eyes out for this game as well.

As was my childhood.

I miss those times.

As a lover of both the arcade game and Turtles in Time, I can't wait for this.

And what is with IGN? Is it not bad enough that they have the Insider service, but they also have to pepper you with those annoying ads as well.

That's alright then. Just haven't seen or heard much of them in the UK. I'm always ready for some Turtle lovin'.
