Help control what I'm going to buy!

I like to plan ahead, so you have a month and a half to think about it. I'm sure for my birthday I'll be receiving monetary gifts. Rather than do the responsible thing, I'm going to take $50 and blow it on a new game. Here are the current contenders:

Enter the Matrix (assuming I don't get it for b-day and it doesn't suck)
Metroid Prime
Zelda: The Wind Waker
Zone of the Enders 2
Two-fer: Shenmue 2 and Twisted Metal: Black

Prime has the added bonus of linking to Fusion, which I already have. I like that a lot, even though I've yet to pick up a link cable. The jury is still out, though.

A question for those who voted Zelda so far: Is it because you truly think it's the best game on the list or because it's the most recent release on the list (y'know, hype and whatnot)?

The two games are both so different and so good, the only way I can compare them is to say I was much more excited when I got new crap in Prime than I was in Zelda. Another thing, Metroid has the Ball and eventually the Spider Ball. Two of the coolest things in gaming history.

My first comment is that with either Zelda or Prime - you can't go wrong.

But if I were to pick just one, I would go with Zelda. I just got my GC with the free Metroid Prime - and Zelda has derailed my attempt to finish Prime.

The Wind Waker is the best game ever, let alone on the list.

Note: The link up features on Zelda are much, much better than that of Prime, and Zelda doesn't even require a copy of LttP/Four Swords.

Zelda's good. Metroid Prime was better. And in a month and a half, I'd imagine that you'll be able to pick up a used copy of Prime at a gaming store for less than thirty bucks.

UPDATE: Take one game off that list. Wind Waker was purchased on the weekend. There were only a couple copies left at the nice Costco price so I picked it up to avoid getting fucked by their evil stock rotation policy (like I did with the 24 and the Die hard Trilogy).

In my mind, there are two front-runners of the remaining games:

Metroid Prime- because I played it and it kicks ass.

Enter the Matrix- because that new Reloaded trailer gave me a 15-foot hard-on with a Desert Eagle .45 on the end for everything Matrix.

Infogrammes look to have really fucked up on Enter The Matrix. It'll sell bucketloads from the name, and I understand all the fits-into-movie crap, but at the end of the day, who would you rather play as, some random characters plus Will Smith's piece o' tail, or Neo/Morpheus, or even better, Agent Smith?
