GBA on Gamecube?

Anyone know when the GBA player is coming out for Gamecube? I really want to be able to play my GBA games on my Cube instead of purchasing the new GBA. How does it work? Will I still need to put the games in my Gameboy? Or is there a place to put the game carts on the player?

I've seen a June release date for this.

It is physically a platform that your GC will sit atop, and connect too. Same dimensions as GC, so it just makes it taller.

Looks like there is a slot then to plug GBA cartridges in.

Not sure how you start-up a GBA game, if there is a switch, or a menu selection, or a GBA boot disk?

There's a GBA boot disk. You don''t need a GBA to use it.

You can use the GBA as a controller, however.

I just looked at this at Gamespot - there is a little picture there, for anyone interested.

But they list the price as $50?? I could have sworn that when I saw this listed online previously, the price was only $30.

Thanks for the info, everyone. Now I'll just sit here and wait.

Good luck waiting, Boomstick. Before the GBA SP launched, I planned on waiting for the GC GBA Player. I held out until the day after the GBA SP launch, before I bought one.

The GB Player is awesome. My friend has the import. Fullscreen looks great and it has even better sound.
