Damn right it is pretty, this is the one I'm picking up this year. I'm tired of Madden not improving their graphics every year because they know Lemmings will go out there and still buy it. Madden fans say that Fever is unrealistic, personally I don't see a difference in the gameplay. The only thing that is different to me is that the Fever guys don't control like a Mack Truck. I've played Fever for the past 2 years and have loved it, and to prove that it is the same as Madden, I have kicked everyone's ass in 2 Madden tornies on my campus last year without even playing the game ever outside of the tornaments. So you don't get to price your hotdogs? Big deal, I've always been a cheesesteak guy anyway. wink

I'd let NFL Fever 2003 bear my children if not for the fact that the linemen are hilariously out of proportion with their real-life counterparts. They look like they just ate a truck and then an entire family. God they're big.

Have you seen NFL 2K4 yet? It's now called "ESPN NFL Football", but it's still the Sega game. They offer a "Player perspective" camera, which shows you running at linemen, etc., from inside a "helmet cam". Pretty wild.

The 2K series is far superior to anything else but Fever is a solid game, just a cut above Madden. Madden couldn't hold a candle to 2K3 last year. This year I'm not buying 3 football games though just Sega for me.

Here goes a review for the game http://xbox.gamezone.com/gzreviews/r22007.htm got a 9.3

Edit: Just saw the video on the link, WOW!!! The audio in the game is awesome, I love the line of scrimmage audio. "Who's got the block....Who's got the block?"

Pick up the game today, along with my Xbox Live kit. Man, this game kicks ass. All the haters out there are just too stuck on Madden to try another game. It has a Dynasty mode, and also instead that bullshit "EA Trax"(god I hate spelling that with an X) music, they elected to have the NFL Films theme songs playing throughout the game, very nice touch. Haven't tried it on Live yet, but my friend has and he is loving it. Also the night game graphics have to seen to be believed, very realistic.

Damnit! Now do I get this, ESPN NFL (with the 1st person player POV) or both???

Decisions, decisions...

And why won't either of them put out a COLLEGE version, ala EA's NCAA series? That would rock all.

Yes Fever has "the power and the glory" NFL soundtrack. I got this today too. While some don't look perfect, i think these are probably the best faces i've seen in a football game. They have more of a 3 dimensional quality than all of the other games(the others have more of a flat, face scan look).

Oh and you get two months of free XBOX live when you buy it.

To take a cue from the title of this thread..."NFL FEVER 2004. Wow. It cost me $8.28 on the Xbox retail web site!"

Muahahahahah!

Nice. Was this a misprice, a Gamestop employee thing, or some kind of online coupon gone awry?

The Xbox retail site lets you take quizzes which earn you points which you can spend on games. 1500 pts (gotten in about 20 minutes) got me NFL Fever 2004.

Of course, you have to in some way sell Xbox products to even sign up.

Swear to god, someone told me to boil my demo disc that didn't work. I put the thing in some boiling water for 30 seconds and it works now.
