Share favorite memories, tactics, or anything else about this game. One of my favorite memories is sneaking into the first Nazi bunker on Omaha Beach as a sniper and killing three enemy snipers with a knife.

I take a jeep, accelerate to topspeed and race towards a hill or sth like that. Just when the car is about to leave the ground, I jump out and roll over, just to look how the flying jeep crashes into a tank, a bunch of people or Nighttrap38.

Another fine thing is to hijack an airplane and crash it into a tank, a bunch of people or Nighttrap38.

Thats fun.

I remember one time when I was a sniper in Aberdeen where I flew around, on the German side, in a plane for about 10 minutes. I landed once, since planes were sparse, and reloaded my ammo for the plane. I continued to pilot the plane until I was shot down to the south of the British Base. I survived with all health and proceeded to snipe about 15 guys at the British bases, before running out of rifle ammo. Then I proceeded to sneak into the base, climb up the factory's ladder and get more ammo for my sniper rifle. Finally, I killed about 5 more guys when I spotted a tank which I got into and drove to the nearest British capture point. Where I was destroyed by a fellow German in a plane. That was pretty sweet.

Best time was in the Desert Combat mod.

A snagged a ride with a Helicoper pilot. If anyone has ever used this mod, its near impossible to fly the thing.

So, this guy is an ace. We fly around, popping up behind trees and cliff walls laying down hell fire. All the while I'm adding to the carnage by laying down machine gun fire, and spotting targets and threats.

This guy is so good that we fly back to the base and hover over the hanger bay, to repair the helicoper and refresh ammo.

I think I sat in the gunner seat for an hour. We finally die when a hidden guy with a rocket shoots one in my face.

The pilot had the top score. I had the second highest. Damn cool stuff.

A tactic for defending Omaha Beach: As an engineer, lay explosives at the top of first ramp. Then head up to the closest machine gun bunker next to the road leading the back base. Manning the machine, you'll be safe from enemy snipers on the beach and able to mow down infantry that peek up the top. Any tanks that reach the top can be blown to pieces.

I won this game at the midnight release of Two Towers. So you guys say it's quality? Are there any games you can compare it to?

I played the hell out of this game for a while. An adequate replacement for Day of Defeat. I think I'll have to boot it up on the new 3Ghz rig.
