Yeah, those were the days. My Sega Master System even had two games included.

I remember those days. Sadly, the fierce console price wars have more or less put an end to it. Just to compete on price, a lot of these companies are making a loss on the actual console units they sell... so bundling in a free game is the last thing on their mind. That's my understanding anyway.

I remember paying $60 for Jurassic Park on Sega Genesis. $60! And then buy Star Fox on N64 for $60. Never again will I go back to cartridges..
I bought my GBA in a packaged deal: 2 games, the Game Boy Advanced and a rechargable batterty pack for $200 at EB. Not a bad deal, but it was the only way to go because in every other store they were sold out.

Oh, the memory of endless hours playing Street Fighter 2 packaged with my Snes. One can also note that back in the days, consoles came packed with TWO controllers.

Ah, little boys. E.T. for the Atari cost <a href="http://www.atarimagazines.com/v2n4/etgame.html" target="_blank">$49.95</a> . And that was circa 1983.

hey, the consoles weren't cheap themselves

I remember whent he Atari 2600 went under 100 bucks and it was an event

i remember my first NES. i got it for 250 clams with 3 games!!!! i got the set with super mario brothers/duck hunt/gyromite. it had the gun, two controllers and that stupid ass robot.
