In the latest issue of EGM (PS2 online cover), there is an article by a member of a development team that made a shitty N64 game. He basically details how and why horrid games get made. No identifying info is mentioned, save these clues:
- released a few years ago for the N64
- based on a crappy movie with a worse box office take
- many personnel shifts in the development house while game was in production, including the lead designer jumping ship
- everyone and their grandma trying to salvage the game but all knowning it's a pile of ass
- the developer is now out of business
- the publisher has been on the verge of going out of business for years
- the guy who wrote the article is given the name Richard del Medicio. I'm guessing it's an anagram.
That's pretty much it. My knowledge of N64 releases pretty much ended with Perfect Dark. After that, I don't remember seeing much coverage in magazines and the N64 section was relegated to the back of the games store where all the unwashed PC RPG players hung out.
GUESS THE BAD GAME.
