R&B star Mary J Blige has dumped her famed "ghetto-fabulous" look. The "Family Affair" hitmaker has left behind her days of wearing big fur coats and lots of chunky gold jewellery, a style often favoured by Jennifer Lopez and recently even Tina Arena for her new single cover.
Mary says, "You have to calm it down. As a woman, I don't think a mouthful of gold teeth and over-accessorising and long, long nails is very attractive. Besides, you could get robbed! If I roll up in Harlem in fur and black bins and rings and bracelets all over and roll up on the grimiest streets up there, I'm asking to get robbed."
