Kate Winslet and Mick Jagger are clearly over their little tiff.
Jagger was peeved at the actress in September when she refused to attend the London premiere of "Enigma," the film he co-produced. Back then, she couldn't face the press horde after her split with husband Jim Threapleton. But Winslet made sure she was at Thursday's New York premiere, where she pronounced Jagger "an excellent producer."
"He has an amazing sense of humor," she told us. "He's very wise and incredibly smart. He's great to be around."
Well, up to a point. Witness the moment when Jagger stepped from his limo and the crowd of previously well-behaved fans and photogs went wild. Winslet was suddenly lost in an explosion of paparazzi flashes and female screams.
"I don't want to be Mick's friend anymore," she said with a laugh. "Too much activity!"
Jagger, who steered "Enigma" to the screen with "Saturday Night Live" producer Lorne Michaels, admitted that, as a fledgling producer, his status as a rock star helped him get his phone calls returned more quickly.
"I think it's easier because people take my calls, but then after that I'm on my own," he said.
