The 40-year-old actor's heartbroken wife MARCY is investigating her husband's dalliances with female friends in the hope of turning their
divorce battle into a messy affair, according to American tabloid NATIONAL ENQUIRER.
And she's particularly keen to find out more about Gandolfini's rumoured romances with THE MEXICAN production assistant LORA SOMOZA and actress CYNTHIA DeMOSS.
A family source says, "James is in a real mess. Marcy thinks he was cheating with this women Cynthia on his regular mistress Lora Somoza, but in the end, none of them will want him when Marcy gets done with him in divorce court.
"She wants to gather up all she can about Lora, drag her into divorce court, put her under oath and make her tell all about James."
Meanwhile, insiders on the set of The Mexican claim Gandolfini, who plays mobster boss TONY SOPRANO in the hit American TV series, even flirted with his co-starring leading lady JULIA ROBERTS.
