I would imagine given that there will be at least one snitch and a host of secret alliances, what is the best way to handle Top Secret Communiques? I know Logan will probably want to see them all so email or PM's or what?

I've iced more men than your sister has sucked off. My advice is to back and keep backin' until you can't see the little red light comin' from the end of my Colt.

First of all, thanks for starting the thread, and for throwing in the honorary "*". Heh. It was going to be needed, so I am glad it's here.

Yes, please e-mail your secret "alliances". One to your recipient, and copy one to me. Just to keep the ball rolling. I will no doubt have info to email each of you as well. Might use PMs if they seem to work.

There will be a new thread, the official thread for "Rules and Info" and I will put this there also.

Actually my grammar was spot on. Sorry if I was a little to "street" for you. As for my attitude, I dislike it when someone attacks my status as a "made man". I merely addressed him in terms I thought he would understand.

Prof. McCready:

Your grammar may have been spot on there, son, but your punctuation and spelling needs more work than the feudal system did.

You left a comma out between actually and mine.

You confused to with too.

Don't flaunt your made man status in front of me, son. Doesn't matter where we stand in life, we all shuffle off the mortal coil eventually, into the undiscovered country to find out what dreams may come. I hope you have nightmares. [Illiterate bastard translation=Go to hell.]

Gentlemen, gentlemen...we are not, as of yet, at odds with one another. Lets take this oppotunity to enjoy life's simple pleasures. I bring from my country the finest wine and cigars Italy has to offer. Come, there will be a time for teeth gnashing and bloodshed all too soon.

I love the story layouts Logan. My concern is that it's going to be chaos. We're all going to be posting out of turn due to differing schedules so keeping each groups story together is going to be difficult.

Maybe we should have separate threads for each group and a main thread for stories that interwine the different cliques within the mob.

What do ya think?
Perhaps. For now, we will just try things out. That is a good idea, the more I think about it.

We will see.

For now, POST!

Excellent work on Chapter One thus far. Just need to hear from Waco and Whitehead.

I like what I have read so far, we have a really great crew here. It looks like you guys are really getting in character with your "handles". Kickass.

I will try to set it up where everyone can post their new actions EACH TUESDAY. I am tracking everyone right now on a spreadsheet, so as to keep things straight.

One thing to remember, though I don't mind you taking the reins as to what happens in a situation, please don't advance the plot for another character. Someone else might not want to "arrive" where you have placed them just yet.

Other than that, great work.

Also:
If you don't feel you have accomplished much in your weekly turn, PLEASE go further until you have. Barring any outrageous leaps of logic of course.

In looking up "sticchiu" (not up on my italian swears) I found this lovely link you Guidos may find a use for. It contains other colorful Italian sayings.

I am, how you say, a dumbass. Here's the link.

To use sticchiu, I actually looked for an Italian swear dictionary.

I believe it means "prick".

Figlio di puttana (son of a bitch) is another favorite of mine....

According to the link it means quite the opposite.
That's right, I get them confused.
I get the meaning of sticchiu confused with something else, I meant.....

"If the dick had wings, your pussy would be an airport."

Lost consciousness on that one.

"stares"

UGH.
I see that we are all giving it our most. Good. Heh.
Now, if I get an NPC involved you've gotta handle dialogue for the character, right Logan?

Or can I do that on my own?
You can do it on your own, for the most part. If it is an NPC I put into play, I would rather you not, simply for the fact that I may have plans for them. Otherwise, and as long as it isn't making you unduly powerful, etc. go ahead.
Ok, I got it, thanks.

Yep, sorry for the delay. It took me a while to work out if my character was actually at the docks or not, and by the time I got round to posting there were a ton of posts to read through to make sure I wasn't missing anything.

I think seperate threads for each story strand might be a good idea, especially if things get more complex.

I wish I'd discovered this sooner. I would have loved to play a non-Italian dealer with connections in the South.
Well, I would like to divide the threads by "group", but the issue is that you will be crossing over soon, into each other's path. That would make it tough to keep tabs.

I do have a "working" title for each of your respective sub-plots. We could use that as a guideline, at the top of each persons post in that "area". What do you think?

And Singer, we'll talk in a couple of chapters and see what we can do to work you in.

That may help keep it straight as people are reading them.
I am prepping Chapter 2 right now, will post one thread, but put headings in there to help clarify. Look for it by this afternoon.

That sounds like a good idea. My main problem with that first thread was having to scroll up and down to remind myself who was in each group. Having headings for each sub-plot (a la Pulp Fiction) would help people follow the story they're involved in, while keeping tabs on everything else.
Damn, I forgot to put the heading on. Sorry...i'll do it next time.
NP. The first five posts have been a blast. My goal was to step up the action, especially for the people that were kind of "sitting" last time.

Excellent work, everybody. We got a bang up crew on this one.
I suppose I could put my small request here.

Any way for a lagging dog to join? Or should I just wait for a round sometime else?
I was asking any people who want in on a later chapter to e-mail me, so I can have a constant reminder in my inbox.

I don't want to turn anyone away, but right now I have my hands full. There is bound to be an opening, especially when one of these mooks gets himself whacked.
Damn, forgot to put the name of my storyline. That's "The Raid". Sorry, won't happen again.
Damn, i've got a shitty memory.

NEXT TIME I will put the chapter heading on....
You ain't fuckin' joking like the last time you fuckin' forgot to pack, you goddam cafone!
Wait, how is Roman not there yet?

As he nears the seedy establishment he cuts over one block ahead of the front entrance and approaches from the rear. He parks the car in an adjacent parking lot and heads for the door.
Roman pulls a glock 9mm from a holster at the small of his back and heads into the Den.

He posted that.
We established in private e-mail that it will take more than one post to get a message, cross town and arrive on the scene guns blazing.

He will be there shortly.
Players, you have a new e-mail.
Ah, my mistake.
Yeah I'm expecting to walk in and find ventilated corpses...so get blasting you two mooks. Actually, I should have stopped in transit...my fault.
