Sorry, whores*...had to shuffle and jive for "The Man"...I'm back and it looks like murderation in Coldstone is at hand. Neat.

Paulie does everything Roman would like to do if he weren't the boss. Alpha dog like a motherfucker. Posting...now.

*I'd put a "smiley" there to indicate I was joking...but I have lingering doubts about some of you.

I needed that thanks!

Scott,

Whoa! SYRUP CHUGGER! Hold on man. Othello begins to do all that. That is quite a bit of action to do in one paragraph.

You've got movement in the same room, a likely crowded stairwell, a lower office full of people. Chaos all around.

There is no simple way to truck a man as large as you are down the stairs and into your trunk just yet pardner...

Let's let everyone else catch up as you prepare to set your plan in motion.
Wait a tick...aren't our 'mano's in this building? I don't think we should leave them to pull a Bud White on Yang here.

I love that last line.
Capn, I think Logan said that the stairwell is quite possibly filled with people. Are we supposed to be looking for alternative means for escape?

Sorry. I got carried away. My apologies to all.

That's what most people seem to be assuming but as Logan said somewhere I believe we have no proof of that and no reason to assume so at this point. He hasn't notified us of the sound of shots or a chainsaw. And keeping them here would be stupid and conspicuous. Some things the Triads generally aren't.

Well the elevator probably won't work with the fire alarm going off and we have armed guards who could blow us away easy enough if we go that route. The only other routes are the window (no ropes to go that way) or the stairs. That seems to be the best route. With cops and fire and rescue en route the stairs seem to be the most expeditious. Othello will stop and use another route if someone suggests that. But as he said, interrogating the guy here is a lousy idea (cops coming and all). I'm open to suggestions.
Well lets ask the GM:

Is the elevator disabled? (I'm assuming since it's old it's not connected to the fire alarms)

What levels are accessible by the elevator?

For the crew:

If the elevator is operable we could always ride the fucker down ala Die Hard. With the dead propped up inside and us on the top.

Elevator, as well as all other electrical systems functioning normally.

Of course, someone has to push the button, wait, and hope its not full of people coming up...

You say that like it's a bad thing.
The term 'fish in a barrel' comes to mind...
As of right now, I have Dino/Othello heading down the stairs, Roman and Romeo in the inner office (God I could have picked a less-rhyming name...) and Paulie and Virgil on stnadby in the main office.

Eleveators are working, feel free to proceed...
Whoops I might have fucked the configuration of characters...let me know if edits are necessary.

Wasn't Brosius the African that fought beside Maximus in "Gladiator"?
No. But it WAS Curly Bill Brosius that led the "Cowboys" gang in Tombstone. Not that it was a fun role to be related to...
I guess we need to hold back 'till Curly Bill's great-grandson informs us if there's a basement in the Alamo.

I wouldn't want you to get blood on you nice suit when I blow Paulie's brains out.
I'm surprised Paulie hasn't made a "Wok don't run" joke throughout the whole "fire drill."
'Cause Paulie ain't that obvious.

And Blunt, I'm just playing the guy, you're doing a great job.

Players, you have a new email. It is fairly trivial for those who have kept up in posts.

Voltes, your freaking account limit has been reached. Delete some of the pr0n from your hotmail, sucka!
What do you mean the fire marshalls keyhole is raised?
Katanga:

The keyhole that the firemarshall uses to freeze the elevator for evacuation purposes, seems as though a "secret" button, perhpas leading to yet another basement level.

Sheesh.

No, really, iunderstand that it came out confusing.
But when pushed nothing happens...hmmm. So does it need a key to be fully depressed?

That or a shot of Jim Beam.

Nothing SEEMS to happen. Since the other buttons light up, being regular buttons, and since you stopped on Basement level one, as its button had been depressed first, thus having priority.

So if they let the door close again having depressed the "secret button" tehy should go where that leads them?
Sorry guys...exams and depression have kept me from participating.

I'm back in the fight now.

Rath & Verbs: glad to see youse guys again.

And then there were 9. The game-master has claimed the life of Vinnie.

Roman, Paulie, Virgil, Othello, Dino, Tony, Echelon, Frank, and Lou remain (Though I am about to have Lou fade into the background soon too).

Frankly, considering what I've lived through compared to what YOU'VE lived through, I am in a much better position to make that claim.

I used to think that Echelon is a pompous prick, but now I find him to be quite cool.

Now what the hell do I do? I'm just the freaking valet!

First GTA reference! About damn time.
Hehe. Been meaning to pop one in there. Now when are we gonna have some mean car chase?
