RAGNAROK: The Viking Apocalypse.
The year is 2008 A.D. The nations of the earth have been drawn into a new and devastating world war.
But in reality, the conflict is only a shadow of the War that is soon to come. For Earth--Midgard as it is truly called--is only one of nine connected worlds, all facing a larger conflict--and potential oblivion.
You, the player, must help avert OR accelerate this apocalypse by taking on the role of an earth-born human soldier, a ressurrected Viking warrior, an agnellic Valkrye, an undead minion of Hel, or a powerful giant.

This RP campaign is opened to all interested Chewers to participate as Player Characters. Once begun, it will move very quickly (and be shorter in duration than other RP campaigns). If you cannot post (at least) once each weekday, it is better for you not to sign up, but rather take part as a reader. For now, please include both your Chewer login and e-mail address. If you have a Yahoo! IM ID, add it.
This is a smaller length campaign (not more than a couple months, tops) to help keep the RP Forum alive in the interim while the current GameMasters on the two larger campaigns adjust to off-board concerns. There will be more opportunity for inter-player conflict, and overall it will be a combat-intensive RP. Bear this in mind. While you should be involved in your character, you should expect the player-character death toll to be severe before all is said and done.
An official Cast and Info thread will be coming shortly. You should not post your character's biography, etc. information in this thread. Just your name and e-mail as mentioned above.
