Coldstone 2: The Question/Comment Thread - Page 2

In my experience that really translates as one action post between GM posts. And an action post is like "My character drives across town.". That is to prevent someone from making six cell phone calls, doing a driveby, and then going out to grab a bite and chat up an informant in one post. Now you are probably welcome to post as much dialog as you want between two or more characters that are together or on the phone.

As far as taking liberties with speaking for other PC's, I wouldn't recommend it at all unless it's a small thing or you have discussed it with the other player before hand. You could probably safely post another action in your situation as long as it wasn't huge.

Like I couldn't really do anything until either my meeting comes up (which Katanga would have to post) or the "security agents" show up (which I think again K would post). But I could safely chat up an NPC or maybe even call a PC if I had reason.

In case your wondering about the lack of language in my post, I post from a computer where that language may be not good. So expect posts from home to much..erm...fuller of language.
Well I did count one "shit" and one "hell". Not too shabby. You'll really need to work at least one "fuck" in a chapter. If that's not possible then an additional two "damn"s or three "bitch"es/"bastard"s to meet your quota.

Burke, what's your AOL/Yahoo instant messager information? If we're going to be communicating fairly regularly, I should probally get that, pleaseeeeeee?

Pretty please?
Cap, I think I fixed it...slightly.

An additional "shit". Not too shabby.

Make sure you do your exercises and you can work up to something like this. "Yeah the ghetto came with me. It's as much a part of me as that dildo up your ass is. And when I am through fucking with you and yours I'll wipe my dick off on that dress I'm sure you keep in your closet. I'd spit on you but you aren't worth the saliva it would take." (Othello Redman Ch. 9 Coldstone) Do it without warming up and you could sprain something.

Any of you boss characters that needs a soldier, Guy Marlioni is your man. See the cast page for more. I did not attach myself to anyone specifically in my synopsis.
Guys, I wanna suggest that everyone edit the cast thread with their AIM or Y! ID's. It would make it that much easier to communicate with each other, and seeing as we already have a list of everyone playing, it's a convenient location.

...everyone does get the fact that I'm definitely NOT a cop, right?
Ummm....are the boards time-warping again? There's been nothing in CS2 for over a day now...

BITCHES CHILL.

Mack Daddy Katanga is having technical difficulties, so just calm down folks, and chill out for a bit. We have all the time in the world for this.
To further clarify, Katanga has comp problems at home, expect triumphant returns on Monday (tomorrow). We do move quite fast during the week, n00bs.

PS: Kid Ego, you rock. I have been quoted like twice in my illustrious time here on CHUD. An honor sir.

I was merely stating an observation....and in the same way, stating my anticipation to get things moving. I know full-well that he has technical issues, but that shouldn't stop others from posting.

That quote reaffirmed my belief that you, sir, are a creative genius. A fiction magnate, if you will.

*yes..."magnate" is spelled that way, look it up, ya mooks.*

Ego,

Thanks for the kind words.

Though I feel like I keep putting my foot in my mouth though, saying stuff that comes out the wrong way when you read it. The "n00b" comment is only a joke. As a player, I am one too, so I say it light-heartedly.

I never mean to "scold" or anything. Just wanted to be sure I let you know that just on the off chance I was coming out as being some kind of know-it-all jerk, that I am sorry.

I guess I should put a smiley in my posts from time to time. They do help clarify sometimes.

You are a know it all jerk and as a n00... oh wait, I'm not a n00b. Never mind. Please carry on.

Read the setting thread for your "cameo". I made you a soldier in Fett's crew.

Ah, the Jester is back!

Replied, Poxy. But for the record FBI agents DO bleed profusely when stabbed in the eye. Much more than most folk.

Who is the actor whose picture you are using to cast Guy? Making a detailed cast list, let me know if you know the guy's name, wouldja?

Do you mean "fucktard?"
All the rooks are doing great work. It is taxing all my creativity to get you fuckers wedged into this epic. Thanks in part to the unique badasses you've birthed. Cockholes.

Breaking off a piece of one of Othello's employees may not have been one the most healthy decisions you could have made, but you do get points for creative use of language.

Oddly enough, I watched Tango and Cash yesterday. Robert Z'dar is really one ugly fucker.
HEY! Fuckers.

I am putting together a detailed cast list to help keep everyone clear on who's who. this includes all the background characters to the story.

If you need to create characters (family, friends, etc.) to work with your main, "real" character, then please send me any details. Posting "cast" pictures is a good idea also. I am keeping track of names, occupations, affiliations, actor and status of each cahracter. Even laugharn's fucking Dog...
...Patches. You better post a mutt, Dan.
Logan, will you PLEASE stop posting feature length short stories for your damn replies? Geez, it's amazing we don't just have the "Viglio" show going on in his own thread. Fucking bastard.

ALL: The cast for CS2 is a fully-bloomed boquet. Stop cramming in the fucking baby's breath, and explore your creatvity with the characters we already have, for Cripe's sake!

(I am exaggerating and joking around, of course. No offense intended. <--- Edge removed.)
