It's time, fuckers.

I'm keeping this simple, like Katanga and Logan. Post:

1. Name
2. Species
3. Occupation
4. Personality
5. Description
6. Anything else (background, etc).

Don't mention anything about location, as I'll be placing you there, and remember, no Force users.

Now go forth and create...

1. Lila E'chor
2. Human Female
3. Mechanic
4. She has had a sense of stoic professionalism drilled into her from the beginning and will quietly tolerate all sorts of treatment, for a while at least. She comes across as very unfriendly, almost severe around strangers. Fierce loyalty for the few friends she has quickly reveals this to be a front. Underneath this rough exterior she is still very much a young girl and has a spritely sense of humor.

In spite of Imperial training she is peace loving and accepting of non-humans. She is personally pacifistic but understands the need for violence as a last resort. She is vegetarian and in addition to championing the rights of non-humans, she also has a soft spot for all living beings.

5. A young human woman, 5'2" brunette, very severe hair cut, big dark brooding eyes. She wears a sand colored jumpsuit with loads of pockets dripping tools from web gear.(Good a place as any for a pic.)

<img src="http://www.news24.com/Images/Photos/2002041210065412_winona.jpg" alt="" />

6. Lila was born on a planet in the Outer Rim and was brought into the Empire at a young age. A number of her people were recognized for their abilities as intuitive mechanics. Life in the Imperial schools was good. She was treated well and proved herslf to be a quick learner and as adept at all things mechanical as her handlers had hoped.

There was only one problem in her psychological profile that caused a problem. She had a very gentle spirit and a fondness for non-humans. They tried to condition it out of her but only succeeded in breeding a secret resentment.

This was fostered by rough treatment at the hands of some Imperial bully boys at the Academy. She was abused and picked on unmercifully and her savior took the most unusual form. SK-951 helped her fight back and taught her how to defend herself against the much larger foes. His motives for doing so remain a mystery to her, but she began to think of him as a brother and took to calling him Cane. Even this trooper's help did nothing to instill a sense of loyalty in her.

She bided her time and eventually got stationed on Tantooine as a result of her "wrong-headedness" concerning other species. There they could use her talents and perhaps even her leanings to get more cooperation from the indigenous population serving the Empire on the desert planet.

It was here that she made her break from the Empire. She didn't really have any clue about the Rebellion, she just new that she could not in good conscience work for the Emperor any more. She and Cane ran across each others path again on this planet and continue to keep in touch as best they can. She now wanders the galaxy in search of purpose.

By her side is the only thing that she took with her when she left, R2-X5. Appearances can be decieving though as she spends all the free time she has timkering with her little friend. He is full of surprises and is not as reticent as his mistress is to use a bit of force when necessary, particularly in her defense.

1. "Commander" Deakon Cassidy

2. Human Male (Tatooine)

3. Space Pirate/Con Man (NOTE: NOT A SMUGGLER).

4.
<img src="http://www.ciudadfutura.com/elcriticon/bettany5.jpg" alt="" />

5. A swashbuckler, a swindler, a romantic, and a constant womanizer (the easiest way to get onto his crew for his light starship, the Firelight is through the bedroom), he is both arrogant and charming, with a devil may care attitude hiding a strong moral sense and secret respect for the Rebels. After the Battle of Yavin, he got shitfaced in the name of his fellow Tatooineer, Luke Skywalker, and wound up in bed with a not-quite-gorgeous, but still beautiful, woman.

6. Born on a moisture farm outside Mos Espa in the waning days of the Republic (2 yrs after TPM), Deakon is old enough to remember the promise that the Republic held...even on a backwards planet like Tatooine. However, when the Emperor seized control, his parents saw a way for their son to have a future in the stars he loved so much.

Given to the Empire, trained as a pilot and later, an officer on one of the early Star Destroyers, where he served under Lord Vader, Deakon became introduced to the art of piracy ten years prior to A New Hope, when he intercepted private communications between fellow officers in a plot to assasinate Palpatine. A loyal officer, he brought the information to the attention of his superiors, and was rewarded with an audience with Grand Moff Tarkin to watch the execution of the officers. However, the execution turned out to include not only the officers, but their familes as well. The sadism of the Empire and the glee with which Tarkin presided over the executions shattered Deakon's confidence in the Empire he had been raised into, come of age in, and spent his early adult life serving in an instant.

He retired with more than a full commision shortly thereafter, and reinvented himself as a space pirate, becoming legendary with the vibroblade. Since then, he has become infamous for ripping of everyone and everything across the galaxy. Will kill ships he pirates only when he has to. Has the death sentence on his head in ten systems, which he boasts about often. Is probally Tatooine's THIRD most famous native (and was also the son of moisture farmers). Just don't mention the first two, or much boasting and eye-rolling will be had.

After reading Spice My Bitch Up and Wipeout , he has begun dictating his memoirs into the Firelight's computer system. He already has seven discs worth of material, and spends at least two hours everyday reminiscing about his adventures--on Tatooine, in the Empire, as a pirate, and in the bedroom.

1. Birth Name Unknown - SK-951 is his operating handle - He is called Cane by his friend, Lila.
2. Human
3. Soldier/Spy - Former Stormtrooper
4. SK-951 has no memory of a life before serving as a stormtrooper. His earliest memory is of training and fitness conditioning. He had neither reason nor inclination to question authority; he was simply content to serve the Empire. Until...

He was deployed on a mission to recover two droids who had stolen Imperial property. His unit tracked the droids to a moisture farm on Tatooine where the local and his wife were less than forthcoming. Tortured, killed, and burned...SK-951 or "Cane", as his only friend calls him, watched helplessly as something snapped in his mind. Questions arose. Who was he? Why did they die? Why was he powerless to stop their torment? Why was this event so significant? His consciousness was devouring itself.

As his unit camped, Cane left in the darkness. He shambled across the Jundland Wastes, leaving his helmet behind. His unit assumed he was taken by Tuskens in the night.

Cane found a transport to Mos Eisley and took up residence in town. He shrouded his stormtrooper armor in the typical dress of the natives; loose brown tunic and robes. He found employment using the only skills available to him, combat, by fighting in tournaments and taking local bodyguard positions. A lonely existence until he saw a familiar face, Lila, an Imperial techie who was kind enough to "name" him.

Recently he attempted to make contact with The Rebellion to avail them of his services. He is currently awaiting a response.

1. Name: Oribuss

2. Species: Whiphid

3. Occupation: Collector/Game (Not Bounty) Hunter

4. Personality: Though superficially a bit gruff, Oribuss is actually a kindhearted and philosophical being. Despite his fifty years of space travel, he holds back his own wise input until asked.

Oribuss often ends up on his own, though he enjoys spedning time learning in the midst of diverse company. He lives out of his ship, a large, blocky transport called the Skyrake--a floating musuem.

He leans towards the Rebellion, but has yet to support them outright, for fear of losing all he has built. He has spoken with delegates and officials who are Rebel sympathizers while on hunting trips.

5. Description: Oribus is 7'4" tall, with a large but unusually lean in build. His fur is bluish/silver-gray, hinting at his age (64--the equivalent of a 35 year old human). He has a flat "snout" and two tusks pointing upward from his jaw. Despite being an intially frightening sight, he tends to avoid intimidation as a means to his ends.

Oribuss intelligently speaks Basic (clearly, he is no Wookiee), Whiphid, Huttese, and a few smaller dialects. He prefers kindness to violence, compassion to revenge. He does not consider his "hunts" to be anything more than sport, and would never hunt a "sentient" being.

<img src="http://www.geocities.com/generallogan/Misc/Oribuss.txt" alt="" />

6. Background: Oribuss is self-sustained by occasionally "hosting" hunting parties for the "elite" of the Imperial Aristocracy. Among these clients, he has built a solid reputation. Outside of this circle, he is generally segregated as most nonhumans are in the Empire--thus he stays far from Coruscant.

He is an excellent pilot and navigator, especially in the control center of his ship. A pedantic assistant droid named "DC-3" helps keep the mostly automated ship running, monitoring the feeding and care of animals and facilities. Despite the regulated onboard functions, Oribuss is looking for additional staff.

He does not deliver cargo, however valuable/legal it may be. That is not what his museum is for. He does certainly offer tours of his ship to friends, but insists on being present to avoid any "mishaps".

Inside his ship are the vast and various collections, trophies of rare hunts, and a complete repetoire of hunting weapons and accessories. This collection (roughly the size of one floor of a shopping mall) requires a decent size of his personal funding to maintain. There are permits and proof of taxes paid for every collectible, animal stuffed or caged, and each hunting weapon on his vessel.

1. Jod Wotanna
2. Male Twi'lek
3. Professional gambler
4. Self-confidence bordering on and frequently staging daring raids into arrogance. Charming, but in that smarmy trying-to-get-you-in-a-strip-club kind of way. However, once he sits down to the sabacc table, he's all business.
5. Very flashy dresser -- figures you have to look like big credits to make big credits.
6. Jod Wotanna took to gambling fairly intuitively, as Twi'leks are known for their patience. While not a seasoned fighter, he can hold his own in a scrap, and his travels during his gambling career have put him into places where he's learned many things that would allow him to bargain his way out of trouble, and that may be of use to both sides of the galactic conflict.

Name - Ven Renavo

Species - Twi'lek

Occupation - Failed entrepreneur/fighter pilot

Description - 5'10" height, medium build, with cream colored skin. While Ven has the lekku that Twi'leks are known for, his forehead is less bulbous than others of his race. He sometimes wears a bandana, which adds to his near-human appearance, especially from a distance.

Background - Leaving Ryloth at a young age, thanks to his parent's insistence on seeing the galaxy, Ven Renavo has a combination of youthful enthusiasm with a drive to succeed financially. He learned how to fly fairly well, and trained in piloting and combat skills, guessing they would be desirable, marketable skills in times of war.

Fate appeared to bless him while taking a pleasure cruise on the Coral Vanda casino ship, when he won a progressive jackpot from a video sabacc machine worth over 1.4 million Imperial credits.

Just as quickly as it was won, the money disappeared under a flurry of bad investments and unscrupulous advisors that fleeced him for most of his winnings. Promised tax shelters and tibanna gas speculative ventures fell through, and 90% of the money was gone within two months.

Desperate for something tangible to show for his already blown opportunity for a lifetime of financial stability, he did manage to use the last of his money to purchase and restore a contraband X-Wing starfighter, recently decommissioned from CorSec, along with a dinged-up R2 astromech droid to assist with astronavigation.

Dreading the idea of starting from square one, Ven spent the next month or two in fringe starports and seedy cantinas, searching for someone to recruit him into the Rebel Alliance. Ven eventually met someone with military contacts, who was thrilled to find a volunteer with his own starfighter.

Ven believes that the Rebel Alliance is his best bet for the moment, but he looks forward to being independent (and wealthy!) when the time comes.

Personality - Easy-going and gregarious, Ven craves information and knowledge the way other Twi'leks crave ryll. He's comfortable with his recent decision to join the Rebel Alliance, but ultimately wants to become independently successful.

1. Name: Sheshurrek

2. Trandoshan

<img src="http://southerncross-pa.com/species/trando1.GIF" alt="" />

3. Thug for Hire

4. Gruff, not too warm. Tends to keep to himself. He's fairly professional when assigned to a task, whether it's guarding a merchant vessel or roughing up a tenant for a landlord. He is prone to fits of rage in combat or when provoked, but they don't happen very often, luckily for those around him.

5. 6'4", weighs in around 280 pounds. His reptilian body is thick with muscle, and he can be fairly athletic when need be. He's strong, but not very dextrous. His scales are a dull russet color that shines in the sunlight. He often covers up his sensitive orange eyes with a pair of black goggles. Tends to wear earth colors, often dressing in simple black pants and boots, a brown vest and an armored breastplate. Carries a compact vibroblade and a heavy blaster pistol.

He doesn't own his own ship, because he is very frugal. He rarely spends money unless he needs to, and as such has a large backlog of credit.

Sheshurrek speaks Dosh and Basic very well, and knows a smattering of Huttese.

6. Born and raised on Trandosha, Sheshurrek managed to kill his other siblings at a very young age, and thus escaped being eaten by his mother. Once he reached maturity, he hopped ship at the local port and set out to make something of himself in the galaxy.

Establishing himself as a hired thug on Corellia, Sheshurrek found himself in many different situations over the years. From the famous Nikto Boys heist, to the assassination of Belba Zinc, Sheshurrek has made a name for himself in the underground. Even though he is somewhat famous, he still hasn't let it go to his head.

Sheshurrek still charges fair rates for his services, and has not risen above his status as a generic thug. He has traveled throughout the galaxy in search of jobs, and can be found on any given world at any time. He rarely stays on planet after a job, due to possible backlash. In some sectors he is wanted for various crimes, and has had to duck bounty hunters on more than one occasion.

1. Decklan Yuan Cross

2. Human male (asian, Coruscant)

3. Space pilot, would be smuggler.

4. Decklan is a pretty laid back person, his way of dealing with the cards that life has given him, for he is afflicted with a tendancy to always get himself into trouble, no matter how hard he tries not to. Fortunately for him, he always manages to miraculously come out alive of dangerous situations. Whether by luck or by himself, no one knows. He is a rather good space pilot (you pretty much have to be when it seems not a day goes by without you being drawn into a dogfight or dragged into an asteroid field). His true skill resides in the use of the gunblaster, which he masters like no one. Funnily enough, he likes to use them two at a time. He can also be quite the heavy drinker

4. Decklan is in his thirtues, rather tall, with very dark hair that he likes to keep short. His most distinctive feature is that he has a smile on his lips almost all the time. His garment of choice is a large vest that allows him to carry around loads of stuff.
<img src="http://www.chowyunfat.info/photos/personal/p031i.jpg" alt="" />

5. Born in a wealthy family on Coruscant, Decklan was your typical rebellious rich kid, constantly disobedient and basically doing everything he could to enrage his parents, notably hanging out with the "bad boys". This lead him to discover the rogue life of smugglers, for which he left his home and the fortune he would have inherited behind. Unfortunately, his aforementioned tendency to be a bad luck magnet didn't mingled well with his career, and he soon had to abandon it, becoming a simple space pilot. He finally returned to his hometown after a while, only to discover that the Empire had ruined the once glorious city. Unable to locate his family, he now seeks to join the ranks of the Rebellion.

1. Name

Mei Sta'ar (pronounced "stah-AR")

2. Species

Corellian Female

3. Occupation

Bounty Hunter/Survivor

4. Personality

Mei is a good person, living in a hopeless world. Mei's done her digging through the scum of the universe, and she's ready to move on to something better.

5. Description

For a human female, Mei is tall, lanky, with longish blonde hair. She is very athletic and in excellent physical condition. She usually dresses in a shabby manner, to better blend in with her surroundings; her clothes also hide her reinforced body armor as well as her firm, toned muscles. Also, she has had some augmentation done to her body but she prefers to keep that under wraps.

She carries with her, at all times, a number of useful items: 3 vibroblades, 2 hidden on her person, a standard laser pistol with backup power pack, handcuffs suited for humanoids, a med-pack with bacta patches, and a make-up and disguise kit. Her most unusual item is a facsimile lightsaber that she carries openly on her person. Mei finds that it provokes interesting reactions when other people see it. This lightsaber is a low powered stun pistol, good for about three shots. The trigger is hidden.

She has an itchy trigger finger around some non-human creatures especially Wookies, Rodians, and Twi'leks.

6. Background

On the Empire Vs. Rebellion front, Mei chafes against the patriarchal empire, but would not refuse any tasks they "ask" her to take on (the Harpies of Tongoon incident comes to mind). Mei is a good bounty hunter, but she knows she's not the best. She takes only the jobs that she finds morally acceptable.

Mei grew up on Corellia, a happy and care-free child. The Empire's fist was strong but her family was wealthy and she wanted for nothing. Her parents made sure that she learned and trained with the best human instructors.

Her fun came to an end, when as an innocent teenager she was caught unknowingly joyriding with a spice smuggler... her best friend. Naturally, the Corellian courts sentenced her to 50 years of hard labor in the spice mines of Kessel. There she labored endless hours with the smell of the non-human unwashed stink penetrating every pore of her being. Eventually, after five long years and her development into an attractive woman, she was bought by a passing trader. Mei's innocence had long passed, so she pleased her new master until she was ready to leave. When she did leave, Mei had managed to empty the traders credit accounts into her own. But she quickly got rid of the money, buying supplies, her augmentations, and her protocol droid LK-Y1, which she uses for small tasks and company. Mei doesn't know if the trader is still looking for her. She gave him plenty and without complaint, and when she was ready to leave she did. Could he still be angry at her after all these years?

7. Skills and Misc.

Good with pistol and blade, but prefers not to fight hand-to-hand.
Would rather walk the path of deception then violence.
Not afraid to use her physical body to catch a mark...
No credits except what she has from her last score
No piloting skills whatsoever, always takes other people's transports...
Becomes violently nauseous when exposed to spice...
Can smell and identify many non-human species...
...looking for love?

Name: Terok Vega

Species: Human

Occupation: Bounty Hunter/Mercenary

Personality: Vega doesn’t talk much, not because he's aloof, but because he's used to there not being anyone around for him to talk to. He's a firm believer in loyalty and honor, and every mark he's ever brought in got as fair a shake as Vega could give. He's not a sadist who enjoys inflicting damage and pain and hunting people down; he enjoys his work simply because it's the only thing he's ever really been any good at. But in spite of his seemingly upbeat outlook on life, Vega is kind of a fatalist. He's a proponent of the "Prepare for the worst, hope for the best" philosophy, but his own personal philosophy is "Prepare for the worst. It's coming." He has several friends (and enemies) scattered throughout the galaxy, but he usually ends up travelling and working alone. Not arrogant, but confident in his skill at what he does. He knows full well what he and his tools can and cannot do.

Description: Mid 20's, 6'6", well muscled, with a close-cropped beard along his jawline and dreadlocks that hang down below his shoulders. Vega wears a temperature-controlled black bodysuit, an armored breastplate, and a long black duster. He carries a pair of customized heavy blaster pistols in shoulder leather, a pair of fighting knives worn on his back, and several small grenades of various types on his belt.

<img src="http://www.geocities.com/generallogan/Misc/Tyr3.txt" alt="" />

Background: Vega was born on a semi-remote world in the Outer Rim, where he was orphaned at an early age. He ended up in an orphanage run by a retired mercenary/bounty hunter named Mi'Cel [me-SHELL] Hurn, who took him under her wing and taught him how to hunt, fight, and shoot. Unable to deal with the feelings that the man he was becoming developed for the only mother the boy he was had ever known, he ran away from the orphanage when he was 13 and spent the next several years running with a swoop gang. Just before he turned 17, news reached him of Mi'Cel's failing health, and he returned to the only real home he'd ever known.

He made his peace with Mi'Cel, helped her put her affairs in order, and made arrangements to see that the work she did with the orphanage would continue after she was gone. He stayed by her side until her death two years later. When she died, he made the decision to take his inheritance and carry on with her original life's work.

His inheritance was Mi’Cel’s ship, the Nightwing, and the arsenal of weapons that she’d used during her mercenary career. He rechristened the Nightwing as Lilah (Mi’Cel’s first name), and embarked on a mostly solo, and mostly successful career as a gun for hire and bounty hunter. And just like he always has, he lives his life by one of the first pieces of advice Mi’Cel ever gave him: "Three things, Terok—One, forewarned is forearmed. Two, forearmed is well-armed."

"And what’s number three?"

"Shit happens. Consider yourself forewarned."

1. Designation: R2-X5 (X5 for short)
2. Species: Droid
3. Occupation: Astromech
4. Personality: Resourceful
5. Description: .96 meters tall, silver dome, gray body, red accents.
6. Background: X5 looks and factions like a standard astromech. X5 was found by Mechanic Lila E'chor when she was assigned to ‘clear some droids’ on Tatooine. X5 was in serious disrepair and it took Lila a lot of tinkering to get the astromech running again. X5 has been her companion ever since.
