1. Paulie "the Jester" DiVialoso
2. Italian-American
3. Cleaner
4. As the nickname implies, Paulie DiVialoso is a real joker. He's known for making sure to crack some sort of twisted joke before making a hit, and sometimes his sense of humor rubs his superiors the wrong way, but he's so good at what he does that they're willing to humor him. For now.
5. Steve Buscemi with bad posture.

As much as I want to do a Furio rip-off....

1. Tony "The Fist" Delpino
2. Italian-American
3. Soldier
4. As his nickname would apply, Tony is a tough man. He has an unusually large right fist- about an inch wider than his left fist, and it has been that way since birth. He's all brawn, and is known for the ring he wears on his right ring finger- the indentation on a person's forehead is an indication he had visited them. Despite his toughness, he is a smaller man than you would expect.
5. Michael Imperioli, if that's a good enough description.

1. Vinnie "The Vain Bull" Mancuso
2. Italian (who else?)
3. Bookie, the kind that takes bets, but never pays out.

4. Vinnie is in for the money and the girls. He's all about looking good and having fun. He works when he has to, but prefers to manipulate others into doing his dirty work. When he does oversee things personally, he does so ruthlessly. He's very arrogant and shoots his mouth off often, sometimes to the great disdain of those superior to him. He never uses a condom.

Preferred weapons: Desert Eagle for its flashy-ness and, of course, a pipe. Pliers on occaission.

5. Kinda like a mean looking, arrogant Matt Le Blanc. He's good looking and he knows it. Always dresses nice (no jogging suit bullshit) and gives condescending looks to anyone who he considers less classy as he is. His skin is smooth and indicates that he receives extensive facials every now and then. Lotioning too.

1. Frank "Tobi" Tobiasi
2. American-Italian
3. Cleaner
4. Cool like Fonzie. Calculated. Dead-on. Usually unemotional, but prone to random fits of rage. Very unpredictable. Cares only about the job and his one girl. Hates the name 'Tobi'.
5. A mix between Spaghetti Clint Eastwood and Brandon Lee's The Crow.
1) Roman Carvaggio
2) Italian/Japanese
3) Cleaner
4) Deeply committed to honoring both aspects of his inherited culture. He views himself as a loyal samurai to the boss of his organization in Naples. His preferred method of dispatching a client is with his grandfather's Katana.
5) Think John Lone.

1. Full name: Othello "The Mad Moor" Redman
2. Nationality: African American
3. Occupation: "Wild Card"
4. Personality: Deep sense of personal honor. Extremely loyal to those he deems friends. Erudite, professional, urbane, sarcastic, ruthless, avaricious.
5. Description: 6'3" 205 lbs. Solidly built. Very black skin. Bald. Trimmed Van Dyke. Always wears very tasteful custom made dark suits. Wears a Breitling Chronomat Blackbird wristwatch. His primary weapon is this bad boy:

1. Mickey "Mouse" Hoffman

2. Irish/Italian

3. Cleaner

4. A hot tempered Disney freak. The 28 year old gen-x is an asshole with a soft spot for cute furry animals. He doesn't like anyone, works alone, and has a fuck you attitude toward life. He gets his jobs done fast and without any fancy technique. His weapons of choice are two pistols that he unloads on the unlucky souls he was hired to take out. He watches at least one
Disney flick per night and debates to himself the merits of Sleeping Beauty versus Cinderella.

5. A young Jack Nicolson with a Mohawk

1. Dino "Baby Bull" Morinelli

2. Irish-Italian

3. Bruiser

4. A massive 6'5" bouncer weighing in at 450 lbs, he is a force to be reckoned with. He always gets the job done but has a soft spot for women and children. He only beats up on men whether they deserved it or not. Lives alone with his mother at his deceased father's butcher's shop. Dino is completely loyal to his friends and family. He has an extreme case of phobia with water.

5. Pro-wrestler/actor Leon Allen White aka Big Van Vader

1. Jimmy Palooka

2. Sicilian

3. Dealer

4. Despite his continued refusal to ally himself with any one family, Jimmy not only remains in business - he thrives. Why? Nobody knows, but when a difficult job needs specialist tools, the smart guys know to ask Jimmy first. An unassuming man who looks to be in his early 40s, only his unflinching and unflappable stare betray his deadly line of business. Local mob myth has it that he goes way back with some seriously connected guys from out of state, but his history - like his nickname - remains a mystery.

5. The look of Verbal Kint with the attitude of Winston Wolf .

1. Virgil "Angel Face" Abrizza.

2. Italian-American with a French Mother.

3. Cleaner.

4. As the nickname implies, Virgil is a stunningly beautiful 22 years old, with a very innocent look. However, do not let this deceive you, for he is one of of the most vicious killers you'll ever encounter. Virgil takes great pleasure in killing anyone his bosses asks him and never question the motives. He has no weapon of choice, anything that'll lead to a bloody and gruesome death will do the trick for him. He is very professional and never leaves any traces behind, but he doesn't believe in loyalty and will work for anyone that can pay enough money. He makes quite an impression on the ladies (due to the pairing of his beauty and his peculiar accent) but doesn't enjoy woman's company as he does a good hit.

5. Jude Law in Road to Perdition.

1. Forbes "Classical" McCready AKA "Echelon"
2. English born, American raised
3. Former thief/Assassin
4. He wanted to be an actor, a poet, or a historian. None of those worked out. So he robbed a few banks, faked his death, and disappeared. Under a new name, he now spends his days at a suburban bording school, teaching English literature and British history to the future scions of America, and his nights in his manor decorated with replicas of fine art, reading and listening to his passion, classical music. The school considers him one of the best teachers they've ever had, and many famous sons cite him as an influence on their lives.
But every few months, he takes a week or so for an "absence of leave..."
Because when the families in the city decide a senator needs to be taken out, or a diplomat exceised, they call on him. A master of disguise with a look no one remembers and a voice no one can place, the man called Echelon is responsible for some of the most notorious unsolved assassinations in the city's, and the nation's, and in the world's history.
He has a girlfriend, Joy Davies, a teacher of music and dance at his boarding school's "sister" school.

5. Kiefer Sutherland with a Queen's English accent/manner of speaking.

Thanks. My personal favorite is a tie between Tony and Dan's. Yours is good, too.

Reading over the rules, I just want to clear one thing up about my character:

The name Echelon in no way suggests a "rank" in the criminal hierarcy. Indeed, McCready considers himself just another grunt and gun for hire. The name Echelon is to suggest that he is only called on for very specific jobs because he only deals in those types of jobs. And he's very good at what he does. But that's not to suggest I was hinting at a rank in the criminal hierarchy.

1) Tony "Alto" No one knows his last name, but he's earned the nickname "Alto" from his oddly husky-feminine voice (like Bette Davis). Don't you dare rib him about it though, he doesn't take kindly to ribbing.
2) American melting-pot. Italian pretender. Has never had a canolli, and if tested would flunk the pasta-type test.
3) Soldier
4) Fancies himself a tough guy, but is a bit bothered by the messy work.
5) Ray Romano -- but don't tell him so. He doesn't take kindly to the fucking jokes.

1. Lou "Dice" Ricelli
2. Italian-American
3. Bookie
4. Lou's easy-going manner belies the ambition that drives him. He learned to use his quick mind to make a name for himself keeping books, and his love of gambling led him into number running. It's a well known fact that you don't go to Atlantic City without Dice. He's got connections there that ensure a good time, even if noone knows how he got them.

While he has no qualms collecting from bums with the business end of a baseball bat, he'd much rather make other people do it for him, and more often than not he can make it worth their while to do so.

5. Tall and slender, medium length black hair slicked back. Nose slightly crooked from an old break, a hint of five o'clock shadow always present. Dark blue eyes, usually hidden behind hip sunglasses. Impeccably well dressed. Chain smoker.

1. Jackie Sullivan AKA "Crazy Mick Sullivan"
2. Irish-American
3. Soldier
4. Jackie is completely unpredictable. He can be the nicest guy in the world, but the slightest remark can set him into a violent frenzy. He has been in several fights over the years, and has gained a reputation for being a good fighter, and for having an abnormal resistance to pain. He has a long history of mental illness, and has a avoided much jailtime because of this. He is also a certified alcoholic.

5. Jackie is 5'11 and 170 lbs, he has light blue eyes, and short light brown hair. He has several scars on his torso, and has a tattoo of a four leaf clover on his left chest, and a tatto of a celtic cross on his right shoulder. He always wears jeans, and sometimes he wears a black leather jacket, though most of the time he sports a flannel shirt with a dirty t-shirt underneath. He loves his timberlands.
