CHUDenver - Page 2

Whew! Took a long time to get home through slushy snow.

Enjoyed CMIYC just as much the 2nd time. Thanks for joining me.

Blofeld, I owe you $6.50! I totally zoned out on that. Sorry. Do you have a PayPal account?

Do want to do a movie in the Springs after your meeting? There's a multiplex, not too far from where you're going to be.
Cinemark Carefree Circle
3305 Cinema Point
Colorado Springs, CO 80922

Tears of the Sun will no doubt be there.
Hey, Seahawk, I hope you have a good meeting and visit to the Springs this weekend.

It turns out b/f is off this Sat (1st time in a long time) so I better focus my attentions on him (for a change);/

Take care.

Saturday is OK with me (3/15). Can we do coffee/snack/late lunch/early dinner sort of thing after? Driving right back was too much of a bummer, without a chance to debrief a little, ifyouknowhatimean.

Thanks!

I'm probably out this weekend, unless we're looking at G-rated material.
How about the weekend of 3/22-23? This weekend is taken over by a work project.

Is everyone stuck at home because of the snow?
Just digging out NOW.

DSL came online just yesterday.

Perhaps next week, pending the further snow.

Blofeld was going to loan me a DVD, but now I forget which one it was...

I'll be away from the computer alot this weekend, so call me on my mobile, if CHUDenver is happening. Blofeld has the number.

Want to do 3:00pm "The Core" at the AMC -- is that the one on Arapahoe Rd?
No, the AMC 24 is at Broadway and C-470.

3:00pm would be a good time for perchance.

I thought that was the HR24. I'll call zazu for the 3PM "The Core" with dinner to follow, if you're interested, 'hawk.

Heading north on I-25 past C-470 (where you would normally get off the interstate to visit us at the CHUDenver location) the exits are: County Line, Dry Creek, Arapahoe, Orchard, Belleview, I-225, Hampden, Yale, Evans and Colorado. Get off at Colorado, turn left, heading south back over the freeway. The theatre will be on your left immediately south of the freeway. Can't miss it. Big building that is United Artists and Dave & Busters.
I'm there, too! Much better than doing taxes. It's supposed to be 3D, I think. Should be an interesting experience.

Never been there, but assume if I keep going north on I25, I'll find a Colorado exit and it will all be self-explanatory.
Great directions, thanks. I'll be there with pants on (er, bells).

Sure did! It was great. I'm working my way through all the special features on both disks. Last night watched the interviews behind the sleds, as the little typed note advised. What a treat. I guess I'm going to have to get the DVD for my (small) collection.

My weekend:
1) censored
2) SPUN-wow! clever, stomach-turning, insightful, well-acted, exhausting (wish CHUDenver had been with me...had to fight to stay and watch it, bf wanted to walk out.)
3) censored
4) BEND IT LIKE BECKHAM-very enjoyable, same story you've seen many times before (e.g, MBFGW), but enjoyed seeing the new Indian actress, and Indian family dynamics.
5) censored
6) CITIZEN KANE on DVD
7) City of Lost Children on DVD (subtitles)
Managed to totally ignore need to discuss future of relationship.

Finding Nemo is great fun. Would be a pity not to take kids with you (though there is plenty to keep the grownups happy, too). I'm up for seeing it again. I'm sure I missed some things.

Maybe we should also consider some other films you haven't seen, that have been out for awhile...and I'll see anything with Edward Norton...

I have to work until Noon tomorrow, so could make any show from about 1:30p on. You tell me where and when. Mr. Kane and I will be there.
