Representin' Minneapolis!

Hey. Zone here. Just shouting out to all those Chewers from Minneapolis. I know I don't have much stroke yet around here, but I'd rather just post when I have something to say. All I gotta say is, Minneapolis Owns St. Paul, and will never consider Bloomington in it's league. Second, Southdale Megastar 16 owns Block E anytime, and when geeking out, there is nothing like CONvergence!

So, if you know what Lyn-Lake is, and love or hate the MOA, represent!
Yeah I know LynLake and have mixed feelings on the MOA. Southdale Megastars the place to be (ever done a VIP Booth there? It rocks.) but what the hell is convergence?

Sorry for the long wait...

CONvergence's Web Page

Sorry for the SUPER-SIZED extra large wait there. Some RL Shizah went down.

Anyways, still flexin' Minneapolis Pride!

Brooklyn Park is my native land. Born and raised.

Since moved on, but still a Minnesotan.

A shout out to the CONvergence BNAT 5 attendees. It wouldn't have been BNAT without you.

BNAT? There wasn't one there unless you count Cinema Rex as the BNAT...

I'm on a postin' freak. Springbrooke 16 in Coon Rapids is my favorite hangout. I'll be watching Return of the King on Wednesday evening (maybe I'll see another Chewer there?). I will be with my beautiful wife and wearing a RedHat Linux hat, just for tradition of course.

Well, either I'll be thuggin' and buggin' over at the Block E theaters, or at the Southdale. Anything less would be full of dumb.

Incase you were wondering why I thump about raving about CONvergence, here is a link to the pictures I took while there.

I'll be at the Mall of America today getting my Christmas shopping done. After that I'll be at the Vikings-Chiefs game. I'll be the one with the Culpepper jersey and downing those $5.50 beers like there's no tomorrow.

They were a Los Angeles-based band with a huge following in Minneapolis because they had a song called (ahem) "Minneapolis". It was a thinly veilled attempt at a joke and I failed miserably. Sorry.

For that, and my spelling.

Hmmm....I love Minnesota. Though I miss the Rockies with a passion Minnesota is a great place to live. Though recently I must admit to being concerned that this progressive state is getting too..."conservative". If Bush wins Minnesota well...let's just say my estimation will drop.

Minnesota has 4 seasons, great films and filmmakers, great authors, great music, wonderful environment (5 separate and distinct ecologies), the largest lake in the world, contains the boundary waters, the land of Paul Wellstone, and great schools.

Yet again another very good reason to live in Minnesota. My only hope for a future in the US is living in a state like Minnesota AND even better living in Duluth!

And even here we had problems with Republican elections officials. I live in a neighborhood full of students, minorities, retirees, young families....and there in my precinct were the Republican Poll Challengers, challenging nearly all the students and even more disgustingly challenging 10 minority women that were living in a battered woman's shelter. As I was walking out the police were "stepping" in....they attempted to intimidate those of us that were trying to see if we could help these woman vote... Grrr... very upsetting, but they mis-judged me and others. I refused to move. I ended calling the state, 911 and MPR...all of which did their best to intercede. AND the women got to vote. I just think if we have that kind of problem in Duluth, MN it must have been terrible in other locations.

You sound cool. Did MPR send their shock troopers? You know they have them. Just give Katherine Langford a bottle of Tequila and get the fuck out of her way.

Central Minnesota is a wasteland. I keep waiting to meet up with ToeCutter on a lonely stretch of I-94. And in the squalid trailer parks, working for minimum wage they still vote Republican. Got to support our troops and keep our guns.

MPR is great! They were wonderful...calling me back to tell me the women got to Vote!

Very cool.

As for the masses that vote republican, despite the fact that they get screwed by their own votes...well I guess they get what they deserve. They can work harder, get poorer and they children can achieve less and less....and the republican base will continue to increase.
