It's in chi town so it's a midwest thing right?

Has anyone been to this before? I was thinking of heading down there and before I pre-register I wanna know if it's worth the trip. It sounds cool but first hand accounts of if it is or not would help a lot more.

I went to the one that went down in Hollywood two years ago before they moved it back to Chicago and it's still one of my favorite conventions ever. All the suit-actors were there, multiple directors, stunt men, effects guys all from the Godzilla movies. Even the original director of Gamera showed up.

I was so pissed about it when it went back to Chicago, but I did a 13 page write-up on the Hollywood convention in a back issue of G-Fan about everything that went on and just how cool it was.

Seriously, I had a fucking blast.

G-Con. Very fun. I've been twice.

Second was coolest because The Daily Show did a piece on it and we chatted on camera and off with A. Whitney Brown (a deadpan funny S.O.B.)...
