Finally saw this. Dug it, was fun, a bit of a trifle, but still pretty good.

Anyone else?

Yeah, saw it recently and had about the same reaction.

Good performances, but I wasn't feeling all that engaged in the story by the time the end rolled around.

Overall, though, impressive for a little character/group study in one location. It manages to come off as more than that.

They shot on digital right?

Yup, all but the underwater stuff, if I remember the commentary right.

One thing I read along the way which I got a kick out of was the Cumming and Leigh tried to sell pictures from their fake wedding to the tabloids to raise some dough for the project.

I enjoyed the flick, which I just watched the other day. A little too over board at some points but it has some pretty worth while moments.

The DVD menu was kinda neat, with the sun cycle over the house and the party moving from room to room... I watched that for about 30 minutes before even starting the movie. Okay, I was on the phone.

I absolutely love this movie. I watched it this weekend with Heart. We had quite a few hardy laughs.

This is easily one of my favorite movies of last year. I loved every moment of it.

After watching the commentary on the DVD it is all the more amazing to me. I love that it was written specifically for their bunch of friends. It made the movie all the more real becuase their reactions were real.

The "Toast" scene was especially cool because all the actors were given a little bit about the background of their characters and then told to make up a speech. Leigh and Cummings did not know what anyone was going to say before actual filming began, so their reactions during that scene are their real reactions to what was being said.

The acting was superb on everyone's part, although it was quite evident which actors had actually done "E" in real life and who hadn't. I just can't say enough about this film. Love it!!!!!

I just watched this for the first time since it came out on DVD the other day. I forgot how much I dug it. Great work from Leigh and Cumming.

Thanks for the bump. I definitely need to revisit this. I used to watch this all the time, but it has sat on my shelf in recent years. It'd be fun to see if it holds up.
