I love the film, and feel free to discuss that here too.
Call me a prude, but one thing that has always bothered me is during Aronofsky's commentary on the DVD, he tells how a crew member had to go out and pick up some smack for the extras (who were actual junkies) while shooting the scene in back of the supermarket. I know the film's about addiction in various forms, not about how drugs are entirely bad. However, buying drugs for real junkies, and contributing to their problem, just always strikes me as hypocritical.
It's just the way I see it. Others' takes on this?
