CHUD Late Night - Page 22

I'm here. *snot snot, cough cough*

I've used about three hundred napkins to blow my nose since I arrived at work tonight. I wish it would all just come out at once!
Right on! I love the feeling of a new place, but hate the feeling of living out of boxes.

I've been back at my parent's house for almost a year and a half, and I'm still not completely unpacked--and doubt I ever will be.

and if I talk to any ladies in the Denver area, I'll send them your way!
I'm sorry your feeling like ass Billz. But look at it this way...it could be worse. You can have all that crap coming out of other places....
Let's hope that doesn't start. I did eat a couple of hot tacos earlier though...

It just sucks that I was off work for four days, and I start to get sick when I have to come back to work. This sucks dislocated balls.
That is really not cool.
Well, i WAS planning on going to bed now....but i just realized i have a Media Studies Intro exam tomorrow morning, and i havent studied! So...all night study session, here we come!!!!
Woo Hoo!!

I've taken many similar courses, so I can be of assistance if needed Dylan.
Well....what the hell is the "inverted pyramid format" and the "square format"
pertaining to news as far as i can tell.
Intraverted pyramid is when you place the most improtant facts at the top of a story and the less important ones at the bottom. That why if they need to cut space from an article, they can just delete the last paragraphs.

haven't heard of the square one before
hrmm....ok...and my notes suck ass....for "Square Format" I have written down this: "Not very detailed. Pertains to broadcast news." Which i guess means they dont have the details that a newspaper article would have.
Boy am I glad that there's someoen who knows what the hell is going on, online this late. Ive been sick for like a week, and havent really been able to pay much attention in class because of it.
hmmmm...i can make up some bullshit about that, but i can't guarentee that it will be what the professor is looking for
post #1064 of 5946
but let me check and see if it's in one of my media books
post #1065 of 5946
i think thats all he told us about the square format.
Why did Congress pass the Postal Act of 1879, and what did it do?
square format is not in any of my media books (and i have like 7 of them). I can't believe I've never heard of that before.

i'm guessing that that devided the nation into zip codes, but could be wrong

What the hell?
ahhhhh...that makes sense now.
That post consisted of me chastising you for asking for homework help and then bitching about the inability to find cheap performance space in New York for plays and such. Try to keep up. I know you wouldn't dream of doing something stupid like getting drunk/stoned/laid with multiple women on a Thursday...oh wait.
Well, the postal act deal

Well, good luck on your test then Dylan. If you have anymore questions about that stuff, PM me and I'll help you with what I can!
Dylan: I don't like you. More later. Love, Rath.
I'm heading off to bed myself. Nothing like a two year old screaming "There's a hole in the polar bear's butt" to wake you up at 7 am....
let me check....

Hey! There IS a hole in my polar bear's butt. What the hell?

On the flip side, the doctor said that I had infection in my ears, nose and throat. Nice. So he gave me some antibiotics, told me to take an over-the-counter decongestant and that I should be fine in 7-10 days. Yeah. I've been off work for the past three days, only got two days left, both of which are "Pat days".

So I'm going to work tonight still sick, sitting next to Kid Ego, try not to get him sick, wishing I was home with my wife. It's been nice the past few days, as we've both been home, just being lazy. I liked that.
It's always cool to just lay at home and be lazy. That's pretty much what Swykk and I did last nice....it was really nice!

As for the polar bear's butt: Swykk, his roommate, and I took Dakota to the zoo a week or so ago. They have the machines that make the plastic toys for you there, and both Swykk's roommate and Dakota were fascinated by them. So we got Dakota two of them--a walrus and polar bear. Dakota got to the polar bear before it cooled all the way, and ended up putting a hole in his butt. Once he noticed, he had to inform me that "There's a hole in the polar bear's butt, Mom!" Score one for Dakota for knowing proper anatomy!

So now every morning, he tells me that there's a hole in the polar bear's butt, but not one in the walrus' butt.

Aren't kids great??
Throat = sore.

Fuck.
Thanks Momo, for getting us ALL sick!

If you didn't insist on mouth-kissing as a greeting...

My car is not winning any bonus points with me today. It's over heating like a mo'fo....and even then the heater doesn't blow out hot air.

I'm so pissed. I didn't want to spend tomorrow under the hood of my car getting all greasy!
Sounds like you popped your heater core. Have you checked the antifreeze levels?

Also. What kind of car is it?

I've got a 1993 Honda Civic. The inside smells like burnt motor oil now, which doesn't make me happy......mainly because that's a more difficult and expensive repair.

I just changed the oil recently, but I think I was in a hurry and didn't check my fluid levels.

Here's hoping for something not too serious....

I am just not in the mood for this today!
I'm heading to work, if the net connection is working i'll catch ya later.
Yeah. Heater cores are pricey. You might also have to have it done, since it's hard to do. Some of them (older F-bodies anyway) require you to actually take the dash loose to get the core out.
Ah, she'll get Swykk to do it, make him get all greasy, then man-handle him afterwards. Am I right?

And Billz, that's just my custom way of greeting people. Besides, now that everybody is sick, I can get better and laugh at you all! Mwahahahaha!

I knew that beard was a sign of your evilness. Back, Satan!
Just updated the comic. I hate having a sore throat.

<sigh> She...she...she knows more about cars than me. There, I said it. Now I'm going to cry.

And while I'm admitting to embarassing shit, I cannot shave until October 7th. You see, it's about pride and three dollars.

Got a lot of updating with postalley to do, and the night's just getting started.
Will check that out Seahawk...

And Swykk, you've got to spill the beans on this one. Did you make a bet? Or is there something more at stake here than pride? Did somebody challenge your ability to grow facial hair? Bastards!

Yes, yes and yes, they are bastards.

I have seen the face of God, and his name is Andrew W.K.
Did he have his pants around his ankles?
Oh, and sorry guys, the net connection at work is still fucked, so your esteemed cult leader Social won't be around tonight. I am talking to her on the phone and she keeps saying blasphemous things like "You're cute."

Lies I tell you, lies!
Someone's got a girlfriend
Someone's got a girlfriend...

Eat that attention up, Swykk. We all envy you, for she is the cute.

And Andrew W.K. as a God? I highly doubt it. Sure, 'She is Beautiful' was a halfway decent song, but other than that, I have yet to see anything resembling greatness from him.
By the way, Swykk, I love your nod to Captain Murphy. God rest his soul. Harry Goz, we will miss you.
*hock-thpuuh*

My entire insides are made from phlegm.
