How have you never eaten a hamburger?? You do live in the U.S., right?

Ego- you're not working tonight are you? Holiday tommorow man!
I am working tonight...and apparently tomorrow as well. Dammit.

That really sucks. I have off until Wednesday, and no school until then either. I may actually get to relax or something!
"Relax"?? Not familiar with it. What's it mean?
I heard it was a good thing to do.....

but I think i need to look that one up in the dictionary!
Isn't that a sexual postion?
it could very well be!
I start my first day of college tuesday....going to be very weird. Haven't been in school for 3 years, and i'm going to be in with all these kids straight out of high school....

Gotta pick up some notebooks and crap tommorow.
according to the oxford dictionary, to relax is "to make or become less stiff, rigid, tense, formal, or strict; cease work or effort"

I'm unaware of any sexual position that requires one to cease work or effort....

But in the technical sense, "to make or become less stiff, rigid, tense, formal, or strict" could very well describe one that lasts for several hours.

It took me awhile to adjust after I started going back to school too. it's weird being around a bunch of just-out-of-highschool-kids, even though i can still be technically considered a kid myself. it helps a little being on a commuter campus like i am...there are a lot of people who are going back to school. sometimes i feel like i'm stuck inbetween two groups....too young to be the typical "going back to school to better my professional life" and too old to be a "kid going to college in hopes of finding some direction in life."

Already planned.

Well, actually, I was thinking of wearing my Diecast T that says "I ALREADY HATE YOU" on the back....should cull the cool from the tools...

I used to have a bumpersticker on my old car that said "Oh bite me, it's fun!"

How I miss the looks I got from that one....

Yeah....i'm only 21, but i'm so used to hanging out with older people that 18 year olds drive me nuts. Something about the arrogence about some of the ones that really don't know anything about the world outside of high school bugs me. I'm sure i'm going to get into arguments with a few of them...but oh well. Should be fun, and I really need this. Don't want to be working in a warehouse the rest of my life...

I always used to hang out with my brother's friends...they were always 5-6 years older than me while I was in HS and College...

I also ran the sound and did basic roadie shit for their band. It was fun times.

That's pretty funny- same with me. When I was 16 or so I started hanging out with my cousin's band- who were all in their 20s. Used to lug around their equipment to shows- both because I was bigger than most of them and because it was a good way to sneak into bars. Great stuff...band's actually going to have a reunion show in a few months (band broke up couple years ago cause half of them were having kids and moving on in life...), and there will be much moshing.
exactly!

I'm 24, and just started going back like last year. After working at a dead end job, ditching a deadbeat husband, and being just generally displeased i decided to go back. Some of those kids think they know so much about the world, and I just want to punch them!

I've gotten into it with a couple of fresh-out-of-highschoolers. my personal favorite being a guy complaining about being constantly busy because he went to school full time and worked full time. i started out as "i can relate. i go to school full time, work part time, and have a two year old son to take car of." his response "Well, you only work PART time. I work FULL time." I reamed that mofo a new asshole!

that's cool. i used to hang out with my brother's friends in hs...but they were two years younger than me.

thankfully now i know quite a few people my age who are going back to school...sucks for me that they go on different days though!
I'd give anything right now to have those band days back. Great times. Smoke-filled and loud as hell, but great.
I used to follow around my friend's boyfriend's band for awhile. very short period of my life, but something i'm not likely to forget. great stuff!

Hahahaha....nice. Nothing greater than destroying an ignorant prick.

Another type of kid that I hate are the ones that drink and party just to be cool. Don't get me wrong, I go out all the time- but the ones that brag about it like it's something new, try to get everyone to do all kids of drinks, get shit faced and puke all over their friend's house make me laugh my ass off because they're so pathetic.

Nothing funnier than this one time at a party where this kid was bragging about how much coke he'd before to my friend- who's a cop. He pulled out his badge and gave him a good scare.
that is priceless!
it's always a good idea to know who you're talking about your illegal substance experiences to!

I hear ya bro. Those were fun times for me too.

And speaking of smoke- there's none ANYWHERE around here anymore, cause of that NYC law. Doesn't affect me personally (I don't smoke....cigarettes.) but the mood of everything just feels so...strange.

The air's so clear it's like you can see people!

For a while, my brother and his neighbor didn't really know each other well. His neighbor was into "relaxation therapy" (ie pot) and was pretty open about it. He didn't really know what my brother did for a living...he just thought he was a paramedic or worked at a hospital.

It scared the shit out of him one evening when he and his friends were out on the porch talking and general bullshitting when my brother pulled into the driveway and started unloading his FBI SWAT gear outta the back of his car.

His neighbor's friends pretty much stayed the hell away for a few months...they're close friends now, but it was fun at first.

When his neighbor has friends over, my brother always threatens to have a bunch of his SWAT friends mock-raid the house...
Man, I wish I new people like that!
pot-smokers?
no.....i know plenty of those....

FBI agents who would do a mock raid on their pot head neighbors
post #535 of 5946
My brother busted in on him one night...just for fun. Knocked on the door...when one of his neighbor's friends unlatched the handle, my brother, in full SWAT rollout, burst through with his gun in this poor guy's face, tossed him on the ground and ran right toward the neighbor, who was now trying to scramble over the back of the couch like it was the end of the world.

After everyone caught their breath a couple of hours later, many laughs were had.

This was recent, BTW.

that kicks ass!
It was absolutely priceless.
man, you need to have the video camera ready next time that happens!
His neighbor wants to plan one on his friends...I don't think it would be quite legal though.
but it would be fun!

I have a million stories...the bulk of my family has been in Law Enforcement at one time or the other...

Hell, I have a minor BS in it.
that's cool.

I have my fair share of stories too, but most of my family has been on the opposite side of the law enforcement people
post #543 of 5946
Sometimes that's even funnier though...but they tend to have a skewed perspective against LE.
yea, my family has a bunch of winners in it.

when i was a sophmore in highschool, some guy was talking about a story he read in the police blotter about a guy who lead the cops on a three county chase, ditched his girlfriend's brand new broncho (and this is about the same time as oj, mind you) in a lake, and then tried to get away by foot in some nearby trees--all for running a red light.

i was like "holy shit! what a dumb ass! did the paper say what the guy's name was?" and he said "yea, it was dave wilmoth or something"

That guy is my cousin.

wonderful gene pool i have working to my disadvantage
post #545 of 5946
But on another note, I no longer find it "spongy"
Awesome...and congrats on the 200+.

I was in a Police Interrogation class in college one time, and we were watching book-in videos from the local PD. We got to this one, where the officers had stopped a car for something little, but found a shitload of white supremacist and Nazi literature in it, along with two white kids with shaved heads. When they had them out of the car, they were talking all sorts of trash, so they hooked them up and arrested them on some little charges like having an open container, drug paraphernalia, assault on a police officer, etc etc...

They got them into the station and in processing, they finally got one of them to spout his name off. The guy yelled into the cops face "Jason FUCKING Koontz" including the required spittle...

I about lost it...this was less than 2 years after HS, and I had considered this kid a good friend of mine...damn, the way people change. He was a great artist too, I admired his work.

Fucking Nazi.
that sucks!

I have a habit of reading the police reports so I can see if anyone I graduated with is keeping busy. Couple of drug charges here and there, but that's about it.

Kinda disappointing. I went to highshool with a bunch of chodes. I've been expecting much more criminal activity out of them.
But it's about time for me to get some sleep. Dakota normally wakes up by 7:30, and I can't use "I worked all night" as an excuse to sleep in frown

I missed out on the great Kid Ego/Social/Connigit love-fest? Damn the man!

I'm always missing the good post whoring... frown
