I was going to blow my refund on a Mini Mac, but now I'm second guessing it.


Because, I found this really kickass Sony VAIO. Does anyone know anything about either computer?

I would get a mac before a VAIO anyday of the week. Had to work on a VAIO at school, and it seemed to give me nothing but problems. Granted, this was three years ago. Things could have changed.

Yes, the iPods are overpriced, but it's a good way to not have to listen to the sports anchors at work.

The Creative Labs 40GB Zen Xtra jukebox is also a good way to do that, for about $100 less than the iPod. I like mine a lot.

No. Momotaro's out with Jason Vorhees doing the "Great Culling of '05 while Ego's taking over the Whitehouse. Couple of the guys are knocking over the taco stand with Twizzlers and Big Macs while the girls are riding scooters down main street while I sit here and prepare foer the end of the world.

It's just you and me. Although the Taco Stand takover could use some backup.

Working full time at MCI and knowing Verizon is gonna buy us out and praying I don't get layed off as a result and also going to night school three nights a week on mondays, tuesday and thursdays.

So I'm tired by Friday afternoon. I come home and crash into my bed and nap for a Looooong time.

Otherwise good. Doing a lotta writing creativley on my site and having fun with it. I've missed chud, especuially late night here. It's good to have this as a nice place to hang and talk.

How has life been for you?

Well, I'm back on my favorite schedule of all times...midnights. Thankfully I don't have to go to school any more--I finished the end of last semester. Have the diploma in my posession!

I spent Wednesday afternoon in the ER with Dakota (turns out he has an ear infection in both ears and broncihitis--yes that is mispelled) only to turn around and go into work that night. That made for a long day. Sick kids are no fun, and I don't blame them.

Other than that, things have been pretty good.

And Taro, I hope you fell better. Sick boys of any age are no fun.

Thanks Social sorry to hear about your boy. I went to the doctor Friday afternoon and he checked my ears, nose and throat. Besides everything being red, he said my left eardrum was so thin, from being pushed out and filled with fluid that he would see through it. Very red and infected. Friday morning I woke up with a ringing in my ear and it 'stopped up', right now, it being 1:25 on Sunday morning I still have that feeling that it's going to pop any minute. The doctor didn't give me any ear drops, just a antibiotic that I am hoping will kick in soon.

Hey, just stopping in to say hi to all my peeps. I too am sick. And bored at school.

Hope everyone is doing okay. I too dropped tax refund cash on an ipod, but got the student discount so it wasn't too bad. It's nice to be able to sit in the computer lab on campus while I dick around/do research and be able to hear whatever of my 2057 songs I want. That much is cool.

School is hard. I lack motivation, an old and frequent problem of mine.

Had the first great Valentines' Day in recent memory, though it started out with me hitting a parked car that was parked DIRECTLY in the path of my driveway! These fuckers have empty driveways, yet they park their out-of-state-plated-vehicles in the road, usually in the path of someone's driveway. It was only a matter of time. But the rest of the day was nice. She cooked dinner for me...how awesome is that?!!

Sucks about the parked car accident, but you do know that parked cars won't move out of the way when you are driving towards them, right?

Yea, those people who live across the street from you are dumb-fucks. I almost hit their car about three times a week....

My FUCKING ear is still full of pressure. Today (Thursday) will be seven days that I've had this pressure inside my head. It is starting to worry me. What if my hearing will perminently be messed up because of this?

Swykk, you would be proud. Tonight on Good Eats, AB devoted an entire show to tofu, both firm and silken, and I've considered reconsidering my stance on it. He made sauted tofu, a chocolate tofu pie that was actually good for you, a tofu ceaser salad dressing and a frosted shake. All looked very good. I'll never go meat-less, but I might suppliment my diet with the soy-product.
