I would hold off on the sparkly until she's 18....coming from someone who was engaged at a very young age myself.
Yeah. I have it, she knows I have it....because her friend told her I did. lol. Hannah doesnt know I know that she knows though.
But is it a bad thing to even be considering that at this age?
I know I still have a lot of life to live left.
Oh, and yes, people have always told me I tend to wear my emotions on my sleeve.
Yes. You've got years to go before you need that kind of baggage. And yes, it is baggage even though you love her to pieces. Enjoy you're time just dating. It's so much easier and cheaper. Both are good things when you are at your age.
Yeah, I understand. Shes definately waiting for me to ahead and say it already. But waiting is a good idea for the time being.
It didn't work for me. In hind site, I wasn't nearly mature enough to even consider marriage back then (I still wonder if I'm mature enough to consider it now). Married life is, well different, and it didn't work for me--at least at that point in time.

I'm not saying that thinking about it is bad, but I would hold onto the ring for awhile. I would say wait until you both finish college. That way you kinda have an idea of what you're up against. Starting a relationship like that is going to bring up many unknowns, and it would be beneficial to have the financial ones down to a minimun.

My little brother (he's 21) is going to get married next year. Both of them have graduated from college and neither have a job yet. It's getting pretty scary for them. Jer's had some good prospects, but still.

I'll second that one Taro!
Yeah. Things would be a lot easier for us after college im sure. And I know that shes willing to wait it out. She knows sooner or later that im gonna pop the question....and shes not going anywhere until I do. lol.
Right on.

Wise to wait it is!
Ive never even thought about the idea of spending the rest of my life with one girl....until I met Hannah, so this is all a kinda crazy new feeling to me..
That's cool.

I've had a bunch of those with my current relationship. They take some getting used to, and sometimes I wonder if I'll ever really get used to them at all.

But either way, those feelings are precious, and I'll cherish everyone of them.
Yeah, they are precious. Ive never felt these kinda feelings before, and I will cherish them for sure. Ah true love, what an amazing thing

One last thing: whatever you do, please do it with a clear head. Some of the worst mistakes ever made were under the influence. Napolean wouldn't have invaded Russia in winter were it not for his affinity for cognac. Don't let a "good buzz" deliver you to your Waterloo. Now, get some fucking sleep!
I couldn't have said it better!
When I finally do go ahead and do it, I'm not going to be high or drunk on anything, other then love and life. I want this to be something I remember, not something I dont remember happening when I wake up the next morning with a killer hangover.
And now its like 3:40AM, and Ive got an 11 oclock class....so im gonna go to bed. Thanks for cheering me up pretty much.
Because I definately was outside bawling on the fountain the middle of campus earlier tonight
post #768 of 5946
No problem Dylan!

I got an 11:30 class myself, so I should be off to bed as well.

Not to mention an alarm that goes off everyday at 7 am! "Up Mom! Up!!"

Sick over here too. Been coughing up flem all day...yum.

I went to my Latin Lit class today, and I'm pretty happy I did--we had a pop quiz. It took me about 20 minutes to find a parking spot. I was almost ready to turn around and go home.

My astronomy class I didn't make it through though. We had a quiz today; 50 questions, worth 10 points. That's some fucked up shit. I more than likely failed it, and I don't particularily care. I think I've learned more about astronomy watching Monty Python's "The Meaning of Life" than I have in class.

I feel like I'm going to cough up my left lung tonight. I could do some homework, but fuck it. I don't have class again until Monday.
Con's sick. Social's sick. And Momo is sick. I feel like hammered dog shit. Throat is all itchy, coughing very hard, and I have a clammy feel to me.

Thinking about heading home and drowning my sorrows in some NyQuil, Green flavored.

And sleeping alone does suck especially when your girlfriend was sleeping in your bed the same day as you were but not at the same time because you were at work. Stupid work...
