Congrats Nick and family.

Maybe you'll get a little girl like I did and get the treat of watching her do kung-fu moves at the TV while we're watching Iron Monkey.

Ahhhh, yes, the wonders of parenthood.

Wondering why the hell you got yourself into this...
Wondering if you will EVER sleep again...
Wondering what happened to your sex life...
Wondering where the hell your waistline went...
Wondering where the remote control went to and why in God's name there is peanut butter in the VCR...
Wondering what you heard just break and do you even have the courage to go look...

And after all that...

Wondering how you could possibly love another human being as much as you love your child!

Congrats again, Nick and Catherine!

Congrats Nick, you're gonna love being a parent. I know I do.
Congratulations, Nick! May the Little Nunz grow up to be strong and prosperous!
Congratulations, Nick! May your first child be fleet of foot (to deliver inductions to the Nation's Kicked) and sharp of mind (his first words will probably be "Groovy").
Congratulations! My wife and I are on the same road. I sincerely wish you all the best.
Whoop! Best wishes to both of you as things progress.

When do you start strapping headphones playing Star Wars scores to Catherine's tummy?

Thanks again folks. No Star Wars music, though. Not even LOTR music.

Maybe a little Beethoven, Danzig, and the score for 25th Hour. Oh, and Stephen King audiobooks. Oh, and CHUD radio stuff, and the "You've Got Mail" sound bite ad infinitum.
Great, wonderful news, Nick. Can't wait for the reports on kid-raising Nunziata style.

Lots of love to your family!
Congrats, fiend! I think a tiny henchman is just what you need.

Those are better name suggestions than music.

Danzig Nunziata has a great look to it.

I just now saw this thread. Congrats, Nick! May the luck of the Seven Pillars of Booloo be with you at all times!
Wow Nick, congratulations all around to you and Catherine. I basically didn't visit the boards for most of the week and I missed this announcement. Again, congrats.
Congrats man! I just found out. I haven´t been in this forum for a while.

Just got back from the doc. Heard the little bastard's heartbeat for the first time. NEAT!
Oh that's fantastic Nick! Boy or girl?
Yes, that is indeed cool. Sounds a bit like a sound effect from an OUTER LIMITS episode, but a great experience nonetheless.

Glad to hear all is going well with the Next Nunziata.
Congrats dude. Does that mean you'll be passing out cigars at this year's comic-con?
Good to hear the babys healthy!

Just saw the doc. It's 100% official. It's gonna be a chick!

Sofia Elise is our current frontrunner with Nun Biscuit, Jumping Flames, and Cleanripper Ragnarok coming right behind.
That's cool Nick. You're gonna have a lot of fun with her. Daughters are sweet.

By the way, my daughter (18 mnths now) is named Sofia Isabella. She was "made" on our vacation in Rome, so we gave her an Italian name. Most Italian names are cool though, my wife wants Giancarlo for a son.
That's great news, Nick.

Sofia Nunziata...

I like it!

Continued congrats and Best Wishes to both you and The Worst!
Congrats, Nick! Great name. Ms. Jankis was pulling for a girl so she could be named Sofia.
Sofia Elise is just the theatrical release. Sofia Elise Maria Marcella Carina Allegra Rosa Carmella Nunziata is the Director's Cut.

Congrats, breeder!
Great name!
Girls are awesome.

You could always name her Flying. Or Blue.
Great name, Nick. And of course, chicks rule!
Awesome news. The first time you hear a heartbeat, or see it moving on the scan...just amazing.
Sofia Elise is a beautiful name, but I guarantee you that Cleanripper Ragnarok will net her more friends.
Great to hear. Best wishes to all three parties involved.
That's so cool, Nick. Here's hoping she's as healthy as can be.
Great news! But nothing is 100% when relying on an ultrasound. A friend in TX was very surprised when his wife gave birth to a baby with a 'handle' after the ultrasound results assured them they could paint the nursery pink.

We had the 2nd to last ultrasound today and little Sofia's still a girl. The coolest thing is that she's up to 3 pounds and nine ounces and well on her way towards flying out of my wife with a good bill of health.

Aside from the horns, tail, and Randall Flagg tattoo.
This is so great, and quite simply the best thing that life has to offer.

I'm so happy for you and Catherine!
Ah, the prophecies are finally being fulfilled. The End Times are almost upon us!

Glad to hear she's healthy and growing, and will soon be addicted to Sobe Green Tea.
Congratulations sir!! Wow, just think how much catching-up little Sofia has to do..
They call her mini-Nunz! Let's hope she gets Catherine's good looks. Nothing worse than a scruffy bearded daughter.

Oh, and she has hair! That was weird. To my surprise though, it looks like she may be the first Nunz woman without a mustache.
"Sofia, what was in the spillproof cup that you managed to spill all over daddy's keyboard?"
"Sofia! Is your homework done?"
"Sofia, who was that boy I saw you with?"
"Sofia! Where are my car keys?"

Welcome to the job, Nick!

I was born with a full head of hair. I was super tiny with a giant head that looked even more giant due to the huge ball of fluff covering it.

Ditto for Dillon - he came out with a big ol' afro and it hasn't stopped growing since. It's reached Motown proportions.

Has Catherine been getting heartburn? Because they say that having a baby with a full head of hair does that.

2 out of 2 Roche-babies confirms this!

Glad all is well dude.
Well, I can personally vouch that this old wive's tale about the mother's heartburn relating to amount of hair the child has at birth IS TRUE.

My wife had TERRIBLE heartburn all throughout the pregnancy and my daughter (born Monday 10:50 PM PST) arrived with a full head of hair. It was amazing!
Glad to hear this last ultrasound went ok boss. I plan to join your ranks here in about a year or so. The prophecy needs to be fullfilled and it's not going to do it on it's own...

Congratulations to you and the wife.

3-D Ultrasound Done!

I've seen the little mauler in the flesh (kinda). It's weird and sci-fi looking, but cool. She's got her dad's nose, poor sap. Just a couple of more months and she's greenlit!
Sure about the "she" part? Could be a little dingle dangling just out of camera range.
