Virgins no more. Nick, Subotai and HAM!

Last night, in the final spasm of CHUDWEST, Nick, HAM and Subotai had their cherries popped, as far as dinning at Roscoe's Fried Chicken and Waffles." They finally got to eat like homeboys.

Now I must admit they protested a bit at first, but I feel compelled to say they ate heartily. HAM alone consumed most of a half of a fried chicken and TWO, count 'em, TWO of Roscoe's famous waffles with butter and maple. Nick and Subotai also indulged in the fried chicken and both had TWO waffles. They ate most of it. They oggled the women in the place and said it was OK. The women were OK, they ate like sumos.

I am proud of their adventuresome attitudes. I couldn't sell them on the giblets, red beans, gizzards, greens and Roscoe's famous Sweet potatoe pie, however. Perhaps next time. Oh and Subotai, feel free to use the group picture including me that you had the waitress take there.

I went there once, it was fun. The one on Gower, right?

Now I'm feeling bad that I didn't try to hang out more on Sunday, and last night. Oh well, I got a lot of stuff done on Sunday at least.

I feel bad I didn't get a chance to meet Will when I was in LA. I had no idea I was minutes from his mansion, and I certainly had no idea there existed such a magnificent-sounding place as Roscoe's Fried Chicken and Waffles. Damn.

I'm sorry, but I don't think I could ever eat at any place that has been consistently featured on episodes of BLIND DATE.

Plus, chicken and waffles? Yuck!

Will, make me a believer.

That's all you need to believe, brother. If it's on BLIND DATE, it's the BOMB!

I've always been curious about Roscoe's. But I'd be hesitant if Will tried to get me to go there. Remember what happened to Chris Tucker in Jackie Brown?

That is an actual PLACE OF BUSINESS? And here I thought all that pimpin' in Tapeheads was some bizarre inside joke.

Will took me there and didn't even have to coax me or convince me. Two of Nature's best foods TOGETHER in ONE PLACE? What the hell is not to love about that? Roscoe's was excellent. The very best fried chickn I have ever had and the waffles weren't too shabby either. I highly recommend it!

Oh God! You can almost measure the blood pressure on the PSI(pounds per square inch) scale after consuming that!

Yes! The one on Gower is the original.

Carl, you call me the next time you are here and you'll leave LA singing at the top of your lungs, "I'm a believer" by the monkees.

Roscoe's Fried Chicken and Waffles is not just any ol' Fried Chicken and Waffles.

Yeah, yeah, yeah. I practically begged you to come by. Tsk, tsk, tsk, Johnny when will you learn?

I told them how you loved it Mikey. And the fact that it wasn't beer and jeelies, really impressed them that you liked it. Of course, I could never get you to try the oyster shooter at Chiba, but there is always tomorrow.

I just watched TAPEHEADS. Some nifty promotion for Roscoe's there.
