I can't help but wonder if we were ever related at one point. Without showing affection for you in any way, really, other than just being geeky I feel like we have some kind of bond. It's weird. But cool none-the-less. If you lived closer I would do tech consulting with you and we would make millions.

Despite you and I being in this place for so long I feel like I barely know you. I think I may have rankled your fur a few times (that shit with Hubris letting his kid watch Jerry Springer's Too Hot For TV), but you make me curious. That, and you are pretty freaky looking in real life. Which is always a criteria for those who I would get to know, given my own freaky demeanor. Maybe we should talk more?

You remind me of how I was when I first came here, in your enthusiasm at least. You seem like a really nice guy who is still trying to find his place in things and that visibly feels for the people around him. I hate to use the word sensitive, but you do seem to be affected by things that happen here and in your life with an emotional depth that, while sometimes you have a hard time describing, is evident in the posts you write. I hope you stay here.

I really have a lot of affection for you Michelle, and I am not really sure why it was that I was able to make a bond with you when I did or as easily as I did. But it persists. Which says a great deal about you to me because it means that you aren't fake, if that makes any sense? I get instanly cold with people who are fake. And I find myself thinking about you often, wondering how you're doing, trying to imagine what your day is like. I do that with a lot of people here.

You are a poster that I wish I knew better The fact that you are working with HAM on a project makes me both jealous and sad. Jealous, because you are actually getting out there and creating something, and sad, because I know if you get along with Jason you and I would get along well too, but that it is unlikely we will get the chance to ever meet face-to-face. Between you and Beaks, I learn more about film almost every day.

I don't really know you all that well, but you seem pretty nice. I sometimes get nostalgic reading your posts and about the crazy things you are getting to try and do in your youth. Growing up in Canada was very fun for me, especially at the age you are at now.

I am afraid I have been pretty rude to you on occasion. My pacifist background got the better of me in that one thread millions of years ago where people were hailing the store owner who shot and injured his young would-be robbers and I apologize for that. Funny that, an aggressive pacifist.

You seem like a really nice guy and I have enjoyed both stirring up the shit with you and watching with awe at your never-ending enthusiasm for Asian cinema. I think I am also jealous a bit of you too, because you are in California and I am not. You seem like someone that I could hang out with in real life.

Burke, I have a confession to make. Sometimes I have confused you with Nelson! I enjoy reading your posts, but I haven't read many of them outside of the Politics forum, which is sad for me because there is so much more to a person that political views and I haven't bothered to get to know you well enough to learn about other parts of your life. The list of people I should be getting to know better gets larger it looks like.

I went through a phase (I guess ?) when I was picking on people for no good reason other than that I could. You sort of fell into that category Rath. I don't hate you. I certainly do enjoy reading some of the things you post here. I don't feel like I really know you all that well though (another entry in that list of "If I had more time I'd..."). PM me some time.

It seems like however much I try and forget that time in my life where you were there for me I fail miserably. I know we have never been super close, but I have always appreciated the time you made for me when I was on my lonesome in Burbank and having a bad time at home. I am not sure why I was such an ass to you semi-recently, but I am sorry if I hurt your feelings.

I've been on IM with you a few times and you have always been really nice to me. I always get the impression though that there is a sadness inside you that you don't share with people but that colours everything you do and every post you make. I often have wondered about why that is or what is causing that. Haven't seen you around much here either lately.

I think you and I are both guilty of using Voltes to make ourselves feel better about our selves. He's like a drug, and based on some of the posts I've read of yours I know you're hooked too.

You have been super cool since coming here, and I have appreciated the fact that you don't get into fights with people just for the sake of fighting like the rest of us assholes. You are consistently one of the nicer posters here, which these days is akin to being called CHUD's BABY JESUS. I feel like I know what kind of person you are based on how you have behaved here, but like many here I haven't really spoken with you all that much, other than to stir up the shit over the "Hubris And The Case Of Too Much Porn For Junior" debacle.

Lately, the only time I see you post anything is in the damnable Politics forum, which is sad, because I know that there is way more to you than your bubbling hatred of all things governmental.
