As far as I'm concerned, lots of others have created threads far more pointless than those (and the AICN was especially valid for me), as well as dozens of multiples, but unless they're a 2-post "newbie", none of them get near the treatment Devin gets.

As a member of CHUD, he's far and away one of the chewers I like and respect the most, and frequently posts relevant threads that cause some absolutely great discussion, or at the very least actively participates in them. I'll be the first to admit that sometimes, I've thought he's been a bit harsh, or a dick even, but christ, that speaks for many people on CHUD at one time or another.

The needs of the many outweigh the needs of the few, as some guy said once.

I agree. He gets less slack. The problem is that Devin doesn't let it roll off his back. He tosses grease on the fire when it's better to just lay off. Truth.
