I don't think we need to do this Nick. We need more active moderators to clean this forum up and keep it that way. That is all.

If this forum was kept in shape like the main sewer. I'm sure it would be a much nicer place.

If you new folk are so into starting threads and the community of it and all (moreso than movies), for fuck sake make the thread about that instead of shit for no good reason. Newbies, in fact, don't need introductions. Starting threads just for attention is kiteless. I mean, pointless.

Okay Seahawk, I understand. OK. I want to say, that I do not dislike anyone on this thread. For one thing, I do not really know any of you.

I read back over the thread, and I wish, that I had not said anything. I wish I had never started that "one" dumb thread though. Grim pointed it out. The reason I posted that thread was because, I was basically being sarcastic and was rather manic that night. I was not trying to call attention to myself, though. Honest, that was not the intent of that post. I was being sarcastically creative. Apparently, it upset some people, but it was only one little thread in this forum. Go look at the threads in this forum and see how many I have made. Almost none. So, I feel like I am NOT the problem.

Absolutely insane. My name's been mentioned several times as some sort of mastermind of pointlessness and clogging up the works, and all because I made 3 stupid threads to point out just how much crap was being churned out in this forum. Then (surprise surprise!), I take the blame for the majority of the issues at hand. Fascinating, really, and it only proves my original point all the more - anything goes here, as long as you matter. If you don't matter, you better watch your step! Well excuse me if my idea of who matters differs from all the golden oldies, but I think we should all be treated equally. It's that simple. I'll accept responsibility for some of this as long as all the others who are guilty of it are willing to do the same. Until then, I refuse to feel bad about creating a few stupid threads. The end.

Yes, it is disrespectful to clog the board with tons of useless threads because of boredom or whatever. It costs money to run this place, so I agree with Seahawk there. But I also agree with Conflict in regards to the Kiteless bashing. Specifically, regarding his post count. Yeah, so he ran up a bunch of post counts, so what? He was not the only one cramming the "last word" thread. If you go back and read it, quite a few "post counters" benefitted from that thread.

Chris is totally cool, imb. He came into this joint and had everyone going. Everyone loved the chewervision thread and he got people posting on many topics in droves. Even when he's getting picked on, he stands his ground. And now, because he is more settled in, it's okay to start slamming him? Bullshit.

I think we understand each other well enough, that when I tease him, he knows it's in jest. If not, then I apologize, Chris. I think you're ace.

One of the reasons why I started the Cafe' thread long ago was so that people could post on a thread about anything general, without the need for a ton of new threads being started. Just your local diner. Small chit-chat about the mundane, news of the day or your next tooth in decay. It didn't fly, but hey, it was just a thought.

As far as this thread topic is concerned:

"I" brought up the post counts because "I" had noticed on many threads that Chris was being bitch slapped because of the rapidly growing numbers. That's all. I used the word slammed, which may have been too strong, to some.

kitty agreed with me, but I think everyone here agrees on exactly what we're all talking about. I think that we should work together in trying to bring it back to an acceptable level without the nonsense and without pettiness. Might I suggest (God help me) no more of the I'm gonna rate you, hate you, fuck you, wanna meet, don't want to meet..give a fuck if I ever meet and the appreciation threads..blah..blah..blah. But that's just the way that I feel. I don't expect anyone to agree with me, it's just a suggestion.

If we lose this forum, here is a prime reason.

And that's the case here. You made three stupid threads, and while that may seem insiginificant to you, it is THREE more than you needed to make. Own up for your own actions, REGARDLESS of what others have done. Maybe then you'll earn some respect instead of ranting about who "matters." If you were a few months ago, you would have seen that Nick banned Will, Devin and Django (and HAM too? I forget) for a while due to their exchanges on the board. In your book, Kiteless, all of those people "matter" and they were taken to task for their wrongs.

Just own up to your own mistakes, and stop giving a shit if other people did the same thing too. This place will never get any better if people sit around pointing fingers and not recognizing their own faults.

See, that person is a fake account. They've been around for a while. In fact, they accidently posted under their real name or something once, but it was a minor person and I forget who it was.
