One of my favorite "parodies" of this came in this concert:

Newhart went into his famous bit from the sixties - "Driving Instructor" from this album:

...about a driving instructor teaching a "woman driver." Hopelessly un-PC to say "woman driver" now, but the bit is funny because of the bit itself, the fact that the old woman is crazy as hell, and because Newhart knows how to do neurotics pushed to their limits
brilliantly. When he said "woman driver" in this concert from 1998, there are audible little titters in the audience that remind the listener that, yes, that can be interpreted to be sexist - if you're looking for it to be.
Newhart, a master of timing, cashed it in and said (paraphrasing), "Well, if you people are offended by it being a woman driver, I'll make it a Chinese driver." He then started doing the bit going, "Ho hee ching chang wong wing...etc." He stopped after thirty seconds of that and said, "I can do eight more minutes of that or it can be a woman driver."
The crowd laughed and applauded like crazy.
