GL is a very nice camera for it's price. It was between the XLs or the GL for me and I went the cheaper route, like you.

What you gonna use to edit?

Very very sweet. I got a GL-1 last year and used it to shoot my last short film - couldn't have asked for better results from the camera. Congrats!

I got it from Wolf Camera. It's discontinued, and it took 35 phone calls to find one. I got a real good deal.
