I am now 12 years at approx 10 hours old.
Yay me!

Seriously, everyone should try amnesia at least once in their lives. Among the various & sundry benefits, you get an UnBirthday to go along with your birthday. Besides, everyone needs an other excuse to party.

Unfortunately, tonight is also the night for my team's "team building" exercise...but at least I like everyone on my team wink

I have an ongoing joke about penguins. They just keep popping up in conversation...like when someone hesitates in a sentence because they don't know the words, I'll interject, "Penguins?"
Then a tech lead gave me a penguin she got in a Happy Meal, and it started a chain reaction. Hastur got me a stuffed penguin, a friend of mine got me a huge penguin-shaped pillow (now named "Lefty" because I accidently ripped off his right wing when sleeping), I have a pair of red boxers with Penguins on them.....

D'Kay is taking me to Sea World next week when I visit her and paying extra to let me in to the petting zoo, complete with a flock of penguins.

PS: Today's HER birthday. Her real one.
