Pizza Kid is the man on the grassy knoll and holds the model Apollo lander used in the fake moon landing and has access to Area 51, where he counsels aliens on human grammar.

I have no idea... I was on leave for the whole Pizza Kid thing. This is being debated in SC right now, though, so don't get your panties in a bind. But, if you really want an answer as to what we know, as of right now, we're not sure who Pizza Kid is.

I did a little research in the SC forum. Pizza Kid’s IP is a phenomenon. It matched up with Blofeld's once. Only once, though. Every other time it's been checked, it's different. The general consensus is that this is not Blofeld, but someone else. Pizza Kid, for all we know, is a real person.

But the real question is... who the hell really cares?

The point is, nobody would type that bad on purpose. Seriously.

At least, I doubt it.

I'm no computer whiz, but from what I've heard from other SC guys is that IPs are not the digital fingerprints everyone thinks they are.

I believe (this may not be right), but don't IP's rotate or something? I had someone track down an email and they told me that person's IP had already rotated...?

Unless you specifically request what is known as a Static IP Address from your ISP, it does indeed change. I think it costs extra for one though. What's the last IP address? I have NeoTrace and can run a search.

Most IP's are dynamic these days, I often struggle to identify people using multiple addys.

I don't care at all. It doesn't matter if it was Devin, Blofeld, or Poxy. It's a dead joke and something that will be forgotten in the the next 9 seconds. Just let it die.

Pizza Kid will definately died before his fans, but remains on life-support due to his antagonists. Solution (as some people here have constantly suggested, but never represented), just don't respond to his posts. The joke now lies with Pizza Kid, and only gets better for him with every response.

You've already been accusing Blofeld of being Pizza Kid for some time, so apprently you must know even more than we do and YOU should come clean with that, Dev, or drop it.

Saying it only happened once isn't true, CB. That's just sloppy. There are three different IPs that seem to rotate through PK and Blofeld's posts, all over the board and back in history. That just doesn't happen at random. Either Blofeld is PK, or it's some wacko that wants people to believe that Blofeld is PK. Or it's sunspot activity.

Let's all fight over the fucker, that will make him/her go away. As with anything else, if you want to respond to Pizza Kid, do. If not, don't. Somewhere in time and space a Pizza Kid does exist. Any of us who chooses not to post under a real name is doing some hiding, is a little bit PK. I am not concerned with who it is or why it is.

The problem is, this is a community of posters. The problem of 'fake identities' is one that Nick hoped to eliminate with the SC (if I recall correctly).

Therefore, I see no reason at all for people to say, "Who cares?"

If PK doesn't bother you, that's fine. No one is asking you to rebel against him/her. You should not, however, try to quiet those who have a problem with him/her.

So is this fight worth destroying the boards over? Because I see that kind of explosion occurring if all the smoking near the gas pumps continues. If there is enough evidence to point the finger at someone and to make it stick, great. If not, I don't see a point to all of this very public discussion.

I just wanna know what made Devin suspect Blofeld in the first place. I'm really curious.

If anything, we're trying to expose an annoyance.

In any case, the information we have now is suspicious, not conclusive. If someone knows a way that we can use it to make a conclusive determination, please come forward and give us a hand. We want to see this resolved JUST as much as anyone else here if not moreso.

In the meantime, the whole point of SC PRIVATELY discussing this matter is to avoid wrongfully implicating someone who may be innocent. But since Devin decided to make multiple public accusations, that's shot to shit.

If you have more conclusive info, send it to me and we'll shut it down in milliseconds. If you don't, don't make assumptions and let this matter progress instead of creating NEW problems.

That's just it...why is it an annoyance? Because you care. If you don't care it doesn't annoy you. Everyone of his threads you can avoid and just not choose to read. So if you're annoyed, don't read it. Don't give a care. Nothing is going to be perfect about this "community" and PK is anything but a big enough annoyance to screw up that community.

Simply said, it isn't worth the time we are spending on it what so ever. Let SC do their job and let them deem if it is something to be taken care. THAT'S why Nick made Star chamber, so we wouldn't be having threads throwing out mandates for action of some kind.

It's annoying to go into threads and see some lame attempt as a joke as a reply. It's annoying to see new threads from a fake personality.

This is an UNNECESSARY annoyance. There are a lot of annoying things that can't be changed, but this is something that can be changed.

What Micah said. We don't rush to conclusions on SC, nor do we ban people on a whim. If we did, there would be uproar. We've left Pizza Kid stay around cause there is a shadow of a doubt that he is a real person.

Look at it from our point of view.

Everyone says its Blofeld. We check IPs. It is Blofeld. Then we check again. It is not Blofeld.

Blofeld (who is a pretty honest and good guy) says its not him.

Continuous checks show Pizza Kid is not Blofeld.

SC is left confused and baffled. And on down the ramp comes several angry Chewers (angry for no real reason) led by Devin telling us to do our jobs.

Oh, and another thing, we do not ban people because they are simply an annoyance and get complaints. If that was so, Devin would most definitely not be here. If this is a double account, we will find this person out and cancel the Pizza Kid account (as Nick is 100% against this practice). But, until we know for sure, Pizza Kid is a real person like you or me. And no matter how fucking annoying he is or how funny he isn't anymore, he stays until he fucks up, which he honestly hasn't done.

And really... you guys know Blofeld. If this was him, don't you think he'd have stopped by now? He's a pretty funny guy... he knows when a joke runs its course.

Nothing like justifying the existence of a troll by devoting an entire thread of hand-wringing and sanctimonious anguish to him/her. Be sure to follow this thread up with an in-depth and heartfelt dissertation on the trolling oeuvre of motherhips. That'll teach those pesky trolls not to stick around.

Forgive me if i'm wrong...but don't certain IP's like AOL cycle through different IP addresses each time someone logs on? There was a problem with this on a board I used to go to- people used to try and pin who was posting based on their IP address (which was public) but AOL seems to have a set number of IP addresses that it cycles through all the time. There were a lot of annoying threads (such as this one) where people would accuse the wrong person of faking a name.

Personally I hope that Pizza is a real guy. I like him and even agree with some of his policies.

I did note that there were a few posts in the No New Registrations thread in which Blofeld jokingly put the PK login up for sale. Perhaps some of the confusion is also due to this joke.

That's where it began -- I jokingly offered the Pizza Kid login for sale.

The only person that matters with respect to this issue asked me point blank if I was Pizza Kid. I gave Nick an honest answer -- which is, for those of you who care, that I have never posted under any other login than member number 42. Blofeld. That's it.

If STARCHAMBER is to truly do its job, as Devin seems to wish,in protecting this community, perhaps they should be looking at the damage to said community caused by those who catalogue personal information to use in future attacks. I know I'm not going to be posting any further personal matters, ruminations, problems on these boards.

I'm not the one who posted my hospitalization on the boards -- no, that decision was made by Nick, who had received a call from my oldest, dearest friend. At first, I was mortified that a personal issue of such magnitude had been placed in public for all to see -- but the wealth of good wishes and genuine out-pouring of support (even from Devin, who told me he "loved" me at that time) was treasured -- especially by my family WHO USED to read these boards.

But now that people like Devin, Innocent X, Django, Facer and others have used that dark period of my life as fodder for attacks, you won't be hearing anymore personal matters about MY life. And I would urge others to have this board become simply a place to talk about the trite and insignificant. Poxy came under attack recently because Devin belittles his career path. Who is Devin to judge? I constantly am a target because I suffered from Depression and almost left this planet. Who are people to judge?

I don't post much on CHUD anymore. I don't moderate for CHUD anymore. I don't write articles for CHUD anymore. Why?

Because what was once a treasured COMMUNITY has been shat upon.

It’s pretty sad when someone of Blofeld’s calibre feels the antagonization once only reserved for trolls (goblins) like myself.

Blofeld is a respectable guy, who understands the folkways, courtesies, and limitations of message board relationships. Certain people do not. Personal attacks have no place here, because for the majority of us, that is not the nature of the relationship.

I barely post anymore (as if to say I was ever a critical element to CHUD in the first place), but to have some of the staples of the community be forced into the background is a little unnerving.

If someone of this prestige is feeling uneasy posting, imagine the rest of us who enjoy discussing movies/music/politics, but failed to develop the relationships that garner this type of support when attacked.
