Ok, guys. Enough with the bickering. I didn't realize Pizza Kid was causing so many problems. I don't think he'll be posting any more, at least for a while.

I seriously doubt Pizza Kid's the one causing the problems here.

Pizza Kid is just a catalyst here for a much more deep-seeded problem between Devin and Blofeld.

And that's something they need to resolve...ELSEWHERE besides these boards. There's email. IM. You're both big boys. And having met you both, I know there's a good stock of maturity with the both of ya, too, despite how either of you may appear to others.

If something occured between you that really is worth this sort of anguish, air out your feelings about that and then move on or just avoid each other. This feud gets more pointless each day, and it won't be tolerated on these boards any longer.

I see or am alerted to a snide remark from Devin attacking Blo, I'll lock the thread no questions asked. I haven't seen the reverse from Blo, but if I do, it'll be the same result.

I'm disappointed that this forum - meant for Chewers to build fellowship and to enjoy solidarity with and about each other - has too often come to represent a place where their relationships with each other self-destruct and the only laundy that airs is the dirty, stinking, poo-stained type that is not welcome here.

As for the boards themselves, they're not worse or better. They're different. Different people. Different personalities. Too often, the older posters here go into these ideal remembrances of the early days of CHUD and long for a retunr to ye olde beginning, not realizing that we've had ample shares of both trolls and champs moving into this board over the past few years. And if Pizza Kid or Kiteless is the price I have to pay for Dan Whitehead or KittyinJammies, so be it.

I - pardon the Equilibrium nod - pay it gladly.

It's easy to complain about the things that go wrong with CHUD, but if you guys aren't going to stick it out and contribute to the things that go right, you're just as guilty of degrading the place.

The catty little snipes are also crapping up the place, and that's going to stop now. Star Chamber has been lenient and faded in the hopes that after our initial appearance, we could give some people the benefit of the doubt and loosen the reins while you guys used that leeway responsibly.

The vast majority of you have, and for that I thank you. But those who haven't are about to start feeling it, and that applies as to whether they work for the site, are old-time posters, or whatever the case may be.

Step one: This thread is over. And it had BETTER not start up in another form elsewhere, whether it be in Culture, Humor, or the political forum.
