Remember when I won the A.I. contest, and how the prize came to good use...

So, SJR sent me a leather coat, boots and mesh shirt worn as a costume in A.I. a couple of years ago ... all because I sent in a robotic sci-fi idea.

Honestly, the box with the costume in it has sat in the trunk of my car ever since I cleaned out my office last year.

Two nights ago, I'm sitting on the patio of a local bar having a few drinks with a lovely lady ... and she is turning positively goose-pimply due to the chill in the air.

Has anyone ever used a pick-up line like this?: "I have a leather jacket in my car that was used on the set of Spielberg's A.I., would you like for me to fetch it for you?"

She said, "yes."

Ain't I a smooth geek?

This could only have been smoother if you could say that Jude Law himself had worn said jacket. <swoon>

The fact that it was worn by a member of Ministry up on stage at the Flesh Fair could've gotten you laid in other certain circles, I'm sure...

See, this guy calls me this morning and doesn't relay this story to me!

But then again, when he's at bars he's got cool movie props. When I'm at bars I sit there and call other Chewers...Chewers are really fun when drunk.
