Chocolate cake will be had. Gameboy Advanced and Yoshi's Island will be unwrapped and played until the wee hours. E.T. will be viewed (if I can tear him away from his Gameboy).

Hugs will be exchanged.

It'll be the best 8th birthday he's likely to ever have.
