Introduce Yourself to me

One reason I haven't been posting much at all lately is that I feel like I don't know who any of you newer folk are. And so, if you like, post something here, and in return I'll try to remember you.

Say whatever you want. It's not about justifying your presence here or opinions.

I am Capt Eucalyptus, book reviewer/dad/beast master extraordinaire.
Uh ok hello Ry as you have no doubt guessed I am Sancho I mean Daywalker. I'm almost a year old here so I still have a slight smell of newb however I love films and discussions about them. Not to mention I love talking films with cool people who love them so i'm on cloud 9 here on the Chud Messageboards. A pleasure to meet you so here is to seeing you around here. *does the wolverine brother man broken hand shake*

Hell I look exactly the same as I did when you meant me. Only sexier.

And I live in LA, which makes me one of the beautiful people.

I am Eli Ca$h. I don't post much, but I'm usually here reading.

I currently feel very limited here because I haven't seen T3 or even started the new Harry Potter so I can't even go into several of the most active threads.

Nice to meet you Rylander.

Daywalker - I do recognize your name but don't associate it with anything I have read on the boards. Kind of surprising since you have 2000+ posts since September. I take it you are a fan of Blade?

CTDelude - I remember you pretty well from meeting you, but you didn't talk to me much from what I recall. Perhaps my pagan status made you uneasy. My plan to steal you girlfriend has been on the back burner for a while, but is still in the works.

New Order - Without judging you directly, allow me to say that underscores and funky characters in a screen name are generally pretty off-putting to me. As in, makes me 90% more likely to ignore. But it's not personal. 370 posts since March is a nice respectable, non whorish number. Welcome aboard.

Kitty - While I have rarely engaged in conversation with you, you're easy to remember. We'll have to discuss tit-fucking sometime.

Hello Rylander. I am Fett, or Charlie to my friends.

::blatant Matrix trolling::
Rylander, I'm your father. I've been here for a little while now. I'm pretty non-confrontational and I get along with most.

My hobbies are walks on the beach, horses, and snorkeling design.

Bunny - Greetings. I do not have a guestbook, but I'll get one if you can bring in some of this glitterati thing you're referrring to. You're very new here, I hope you are starting to settle in. I seem to recall you pissing some people off, but my memory is fuzzy. In any case, I hope you can outgrow the shenanigans phase.

Eli - I do recognize your name, and while it's easy to confuse with Eli Cross, I do remember you in name. Like you, I often am not at all up to date on having seen or read the latest thing, and thats a large part of why I am absent from the main sewer. Cheers.

Sorry capt. I totally remember you as you have been here longer than me. And, sorry to bring it up, but I mainly remember you for your honest discussion of a certain addiction. I didn't mean to skip you, it was an oversight. How's life?

Sammy Jankis - I have your name written on my arm, so I'll always remember you. And no, you're not my dad, though I did give him the Memento DVD last Christmas. One of my best friends has a dwarf hamster named after you as well, so that's what I think of first whenever I see your name.

Fett - We haven't talked much but I do feel like you're among those that I "know" if only for having seen you in chat a couple of times. I havent been there in a while actually. And I still intend to call you Chas for no real reason.
I'm your worst nightmare.

You know, the one where you're at school only you're naked? Yeah, that's me.

I am neaux. The negative to your positive. anyone who is not neaux is a double negative (which is obviously worse).

I have posted over a year now.. wow I cant believe its been that long.. and I usually haunt the anime/video game forums.

nice to meet you.

Couldn't be better at this point man, couldn't be better. Well OK The League COULD be getting better buzz and the Hulk should have mopped up the box office but personally it's all good.

Poxy - You're like the wind baby. Nobody gets you.

neaux - Hi. As is, you're going to be tough to remember. I am not much into anime or video games and rarely visit those forums. Perhaps there is another way to distinguish yourself.

Hi Ry, I'm Gracie. You may remeber me from such Chats as: "What dvd should I watch tonight?" or "Hey, let's all talk like Pirates!"

Ha ha.

Pagan ways didn't bother me. I think I was trying to think of a way to get in Nick's pants without Tanya getting mad at me.

Well as long as it is on the back burner...

Wait, I think this is a reference to something that you don't want to take out of your sink. It might grow into a humanoid who has basketball leather for skin.

For the love of God just turn on the garbage disposal!

*Nice reference Kronos!

For the record, I have met Kronos, Blofeld and CT in real life. Hi Paul! Incidentally, there's a 'hair in the sink' reference in my profile as well.

Gracie I've met in chat a bunch of times. She's really friendly, which at first made me think she had a thing for me, but of course she's married. She was like the one person willing to have a real dicussion about titfucking and I always appreciated that. The thing I'll remember most is her confession of the astounding size of her rack.

Andre - I feel like we have met, in spite of limited interaction. Your replies to my All About Eve thread outweigh your unwitting slam of me.

Jonas - Hi there. No stalking please.

Prisoner - Hello. I'm currently biting off my tongue in order to not insult you.
Hello, I'm billzæbub. We were indoctrinated into the CHUD fold at about the same time. Dream ye of a different way and ye shall be doomed. I believe in the Indigenous American tradition of offering food and drink to all new acquaintances, and you are obliged to accept my offering whether or not you are hungry or thirsty. So what do you want to eat and drink?

Pox - it's stuck with me since you posted it once, and if you recall i asked you about the source in chat. I was hoping it was Lee Marvin and I choose to hear it in his voice regardless. While I have yet to speak it in life, this phrase is now part of my lexicon.

Bill - I'd like a Pastrami Reuben with chips, russian dressing and pickles on the side and a keg of Sam Adams. Thanks. I don't get the indoctrination bit though. What else should I remeber about you besides your name?
I am g-dude. Um, I'm a guy and I love Ghostbusters. There's the basics, not much more to me than that. Well, a bit more. But not much.

Hey there. I'm the guy who does photomanips around here. For examples of my work, check the From Justin To Kelly and Chewers Be Damned threads. I also like mangos...

g-dude - I do recognize your name. And Ghostbusters is easy to associate with g, so that is something I should be able to remember.

Wolfwood - I like mangos but I don't eat them often enough. I recognize your name too, Nicholas D right? I feel like I saw you in chat before and wondered who you were. As far as the photos stuff, I'll have to look in the FJ2K thread, but Chewers Be Damned was partially my invention. And everyone knows that the real master is Voltes5.
Yes, Rylander, I was "Nicholas D." before I shortened my name. And yes, I know that Voltes5 is the master of all Chud photomanipers. I wish he was still posting as I always admired his work (and subsequently inspired by him) and am trying to keep the thread going since Diva found it again until he comes back.

Greetings Rylander.

I am the beginning and the end, the alpha and the omega, and quite possibly the most sacrilegious person you'll ever meet.

Or maybe, just maybe, I'm Jack Chict.

Although, in my opinion, the two are one and the same.

Daemion - Howdy. You I don't know at all. You seem to have a decent grasp of grandstanding. But, unless your name really is Jack Chict, I'd bet you're more interesting as yourself.

Blunt - Hey Matt. I'm pretty sure you were in the international ninja chat a long time ago. I totally know your name/story and feel some kinship with you for having been here for a while. If I were better at seeing films in their theatrical release we'd probably have had more interaction talking about films.

Well, I thought your registration date was in 2002. I was wrong. I'll have your sandwich up in a jiffy, but I can only offer a bottle of Sam's at a time. My hospitality has it's limits. Here's something else to remember about me:

"I am not your rolling wheels, I am the highway.
I am not your carpet ride, I am the sky.
I am not your blowing wind, I am the lightning.
I am not your autumn moon, I am the night."

Nevermind the man behind the curtain...

Oh, alright, I'll er, come out of the closet, so to speak. Hello, I'm Daemion (name changed to protect the innocent). I like movies, fantasy novels, video games, music, and beer, but not necessarily in that order.

I live in the state everyone loves to make fun of: Louisiana. But hey, New Orleans is a hop and a skip away from me, so neener neener.

I'm a programmer by trade (but we like to be called "Developers," so humor us). Besides, if it wasn't for people like us, you wouldn't have this fancy-wancy interweb thing.

My friends tell me I'm "intimidating" in appearance, but I think they're just trying to boost my fragile ego. I'll spare the pics to save the children. And yes, I do have a bit of a megalomaniac streak within.

And that's that. Now we've met. Nice to meet you.

When I told you to marry her it was to protect you from me. Ha ha.

Daemion - I don't have any real problem with Loosiana. To me, Kentucky will always be the sucky. I also enjoy beer, but not necessarily in that order. And I am also cursed with looking intimidating or angry all the time. Plenty of people here are. Doesn't mean I'm not sexy.

Dylan - yep, you're an old timer around here for such a young guy. I respect your party-mindedness. But I miss Heart. She was a hoot.

Jherek - The other white meat. I know you're an Illini fan. Sorry, about your hoops team being screwed over. Sorry that it pleases me so.
Yeah. Ive been here since I was 15, so yeah, I am an oldtimer for being so young. Heart's doing great. I still see her probably once a week or so. We still hang out a bunch and remain good friends.

the underscores are an old school back in the day of plain text yahoo chatting artifact thing i decided to hold onto whilst transferring my moviephile condition to these boards, understandable, and it puts most people off, but then changing your (the corporate your) name every week to something seemingly witty puts me off, there are hackers that would kill for my yahoo handle, anyways, you know eggs and vinegar do go together, just add some soy sauce, a little sugar, garlic and scallions, sit back and watch, scrambled or omelette style, this formula knows no bounds, and it's not just for breakfast, put in your lunch box, make quiche for dinner at grandma's house, you create the possibilities, pleasure meeting you, "until that day"...
