There's a score. Thanks, Claudia!

I read parts of it.

I'd never actually heard of Chris Moore, but his name seemed very familiar. Reading the interview and looking through his website none of his books rang a bell, so I think I've got him mixed-up with someone else.

But - I like the sound of his books, so next time I've got some spare cash I'll take a punt on one and see what I think. Any recommendations for a first-timer?

And - I have to say it - I can't be the only person disappointed to see the first CHUD Stories update in what feels like years didn't actually have any new stories. frown

I'm disappointed, too, but I talked to Nick (briefly) last night, and he said, rightly, that updating the site isn't a priorty on his list right now.

But I wrote a new story about anti-Semitism in Lumiere. It's pretty good. We'll see what Claudia thinks.

I think that Mac/Apple txt files blow on my computer . I have nothing but chinese on my screen.

I don't suppose that I could coerce you into sending it to me as an e-mail, could I? Please? Pretty Please? With a big fat eyeball on top?

The first book anyone should read by Christopher Moore is definitely Practical Demonkeeping. It got me hooked on all of his stuff.

I had read it, and Coyote Blue, just before I went to a convention. At the convention, I met the man in person, and had a wonderful time when I got to talk to him a bit. He's charming, funny, and amazingly brilliant, all wrapped into a rather nice person.

I've never read Moore.

Bad, Blofeld. BAD!

Very bad Blofeld. No biscuit for you - until you try one of his books.

I have got to get some sleep.

Per this interview, I read Lamb: The Gospel According To Biff, Christ's Childhood Pal.

It changed my life.

It restored my faith.

It did more to explain who Jesus was and what his teachings meant in two days than four years of Catholic prep school did.

A masterpiece.

Bravo.

The ONLY reason I haven't read it yet:
Pre-interview: Didn't know it was out yet. Forgot I'm on Chris's mailing list with a now defunct address, thankyewverymuch Mail.com.

Post-Interview: I'm knee deep in Anita Blake books, and I have to finish those first. I'm not a fast reader. Voracious, yes, speedy, no.

Bought Lamb yesterday. Haven't had a chance to read it, but I bought it. From a store, even, not Amazon.
Gotta keep cult authors visible so the masses will stumble across them.
Good news...Borders had him facing Cover Out instead of Spine Out.
