My God, that's a great story. Really, really great. It's so cool to see a Lumiere story that isn't horror or supernatural - just a bit dark and sad, and driven by character.

The irony is, I had an idea for a story called "Curtains" as well which I tried to hammer out for this batch of stories, but couldn't get it to work.

Needless to say, I'm glad I didn't now. This one is a million times better than the idea I had.

Well im with u on this one pal.
What a great little story, i really admire people who can pull these off, no gore, no blood, just a simple character piece and it genuinely made me feel sad then happy at the end.

I read this one before I posted this morning and I really liked it. Very nice work. In fact, I read a couple more this morning and you guys are all pretty good writers. Keep it up! I'm enjoying the read.

Curtains was my absolute favorite of all the submissions that I received. Not that the others weren't great/fun/interesting, because they were. But this was just too cool for words. Which is really odd, coming from me, as I'm more into the horror/sci-fi genre myself.

That was a truly awesome story (as were they all) and I echo the sentiment that it was nice for it to be a non-horror piece.
