Prime Time Teleplay Competition deadline: June 5th. Entry fee: $30. Categories: Sitcom and drama.
Film Competition early deadline: June 15th. entry fee: $40. Categories: Feature, Short, and Student Short. Late deadline: July 15th. Entry Fee: $50.

For the past six years award winning feature films have received distribution as a result of their AFF screening. Short films screened in competition at the Austin Film Festival are eligible to be nominated for an Academy Award.
