Which projects are on your palate currently?

Right now I'm working on a musical, DESPERADOS UNDER THE EAVES, a western version of MOULIN ROUGE! (that is, a love story told with conteporary songs).

I'm prepping for "TV Ghosts". No paying gigs at the moment.

I am in the middle of making a ten minute student film that I was assigned. Also I am just about to start my first feature length screenplay for the screenwriting class I'm in. They are both in my favorite genre of Dark Fantasy.

I'm currently in the process of designing and working on an online comic. Nothing exciting yet.

I'm kind of torturing myself at the moment. I'm working on a story of the Amber Room. Combining as much historical detail and then creating a modern day plot thread...it's a bit overwhelming. It's more of an endurance test than something I'm interested in selling at the moment (self-produced finance is not an option).

I'm in a constant state of brainstorming but I never have any good ideas.

I am working on a two minute remake of the shower scene in pyscho with some friends for a class project, kinda sad but it works, and we get our profs wild disapproval of violence to entertain us.

I just got through doing an in line movie for the Netherworld haunted house. It came out pretty cool. It was a lot of photo manipulation and then animated in After Effects. I did some prosthetics as well for it. Overall, I'm pretty happy with it and they liked it alot. I am currently doing a Star Wars spoof for the teens at church and I'm still planning on starting on my horror film in several weeks. That is going to be off and on for a while. It looks like I am going to be doing the make up effects for "Dumb and Dumber 2". The producer called me several days ago and asked me if I wanted to do the film. (I worked with him on "Boxing Helena" and "Run,Ronnie Run".) The stuff that he told me about sounds really funny. We'll see how it goes. Definitely a busy time.

Nice on Bill, do you know what Direction D&D2 will take (if u can tell us)?
Also have u been able to have a play with ur shiny new Canon yet?

I really don't want to go into any details of what little info I know on D&D 2. I will tell you that it is a prequel. I don't want to get in any trouble with the production, so I'll leave it at that. I have shot some stuff with the new camera, but not much. I am waiting for some more filters to show up for a few shots that I need to get for this thing with the teens. It is a great camera though. I'll keep you posted.
Later,
Bill

I'm fully into my second full-length screenplay. The first one was written in college and can only be described as "poorly-realised". I've worked on many things since then, but this is the first time I've actually got to the dialog stage on another feature.

I orginally wrote it as a short that I was going to shoot myself, but could never get my friends to (actually) work for free or the money to pay competant help.

I've got about a third of it done. Most of the major scenes are written and most everything else is in treatment form.

Anyway, I typically don't talk about works in progress but...

"It is a coming of age story about a girl, who has discovered that she is a witch and the only person who knows the identity of her parent's killer. She sets out to take revenge."

The basic set-up isn't anything too new. However, I have spent a great deal of time and effort to establish witches and humans as two completely different species. I'm taking advantage of some dark-ages in history to fill in the gaps between the history of the two species.

All I'm really try to do is finally write the great american horror movie.

Yahtzee!

No actually Im starting to work on some ideas for a script but things are slow going right now.

We'll see what happens.

Trying to unload my script. Looks like I'll be starting re-writes in about a week or so.

Basically, my writing partner has some connections with one of the major agencies. We sent them the script, they read it and had a somewhat mixed response, but it sounds like they are still interested in being involved, depending on a solid re-write of course.

<fingers crossed>
