Does anyone know how to make fake blood?

I am going to make a short film myself but I need to get realistic fake blood. I tried getting some at some party stores but that’s not enough and I want it to look as real as it can be.

If you have not read Bruce Campbell's book, go buy it and read it now. In it there is a recipe for the fake blood used in the Evil Dead movies. And a lot of other great shit too. This is a great book for filmmakers, right up their with Robert Rodriquez' Rebel without a Crew.

Damn this is gonna bug me. But Starving Dog it's Rodriguez! G not a Q. Sorry dont mean to be an ass about it or anything, but as someone who has the name Rodriguez, having it constantly misspelled like that is rather annoying. Another thing since i just never been able to ask anyone this, and im just really curious. Why do u spell it like that? It doesnt sounds like that and a Q doesnt sound like G in spanish. I just alway wondered why. Hehe hell even my credit card has it spelled like that, its crazy how many people do that. Err... and sorry about changing the topic at hand btw. Mmm... i sure there are about a doesnt different ways online. Just search google.

I knew it was G. I don't know why I do that sometimes (type Q instead of G), it just kind of comes out like that sometimes.

You know, like when some people spell my name Sean. How the hell does that even sound like Shawn? I still don't see where they get the shhh sound from "Se"

Haha,yah i was just wonderin'. Hehe, i always found Sean to be "the" way to write Shawn, force of habit i guess, and i had a lot of friends that spelled it like that over the years.
