Hey all,
Due to the high costs of DVD recorders, I want to invest in an S-VHS deck for now instead.
This deck is now only $99.99 and CLAIMS to record S-VHS on only standard VHS tapes, but can obviously use S-VHS tapes as well. I am especially curious because it only has one S-Video, and its an output, not an input. So would S-VHS quality (claims to do 400 lines of res) really come through since it basically has to go through the coax in. Also, would older VHS tapes benefit from the S-Video output that this deck has?
