Who do you guys go to? (besides audioreview.com)

I don't go to audioreview. I find that a lot of people there are either in love with a certain brand or pissed off because they happened to get a product with a defect. I buy Home Theater Magazine. They are fair and are known to piss off some of their advertisers from time to time with honest reviews. There website is here:

I've bought my speakers and Sub because of some of their advice in what to listen for. They do cover a lot of expensive gear but they also review some stuff for poor folk like me. In picking out a widescreen TV I had no idea what to even look for until I found them.

I bought B&W speakers and a 15" Velodyne sub. The widescreen TV is not mine yet. I've narrowed the choices down to Pioneer, Toshiba or a Sony. DVI,1394 IEEE Firewire, 1080i, 720p. What ever happened to just going into a store and buying a TV? Now you have to do research. The government should put out a pamplet on all this Hi-Def stuff.
