Connection Questions for a dummy II: The Quickening

Okay, I have an ATI Radeon 9700 video card with three connections. One is SVGA/monitor, one is S-video, the other looks something like this:

It's much more compact than that, but I hope someone can understand what I'm getting at. What kind of connection is this and how can I use it?
Thanks!

Sorry, I kept editing this to make my 'sketch' look like the actual connection.

It is the DVI connector which is used to connect your video card to a digital CRT or a flat panel.

Thanks. Now I just have to find something to connect to it. I looked up monitors and TV's with DVI inputs. It's gonna take a little cash!

I don't know the prices on Mac monitors, but I think they all use a DVI connection, and they should be plug and play. That might be a cheaper way to go than getting a "PC" one.
