Excellent review for an underappreciated gem. Well worth the wait. The caps are great, my fav being the Carrottop reference.

Nice to see some Bill-love as well. I'm sure I'm not the only Chewer who hung around the theater watching the credits waiting for his name.

And it's a great, fun movie too. I'll always have fond memories because I went to see it early one morning to kill some time before hospital visiting hours started and I could visit my newborn son.

I thought the review was good. It nice to see someone look at the film for what it is rather than looking at it as a film running for Best Picture. Some good captions, too.

PUSSYWALLS!

I was kind of underwhelmed with the film. It didn't live up to the fantastic trailer, for me. I don't think it's a bad flick, it just kind of sat there for me. I will give it a second chance on DVD though. At least the commentary sounds fun.

Great review and I agree that the film should have went the R-rating route. My favorite cap is the "torrid affair/great sex" one.

Great review, Nick.

I picked up the DVD on Tuesday and watched it the very next day. I saw the movie in theaters (at a CHUD screening, actually), and loved every minute of it's cheesey tongue-in-cheek fun.

Watching it on DVD, I loved it just as much. I know it's not perfect but if there's one word that can be used to describe 8LF, it's "FUN."

And that short film on the DVD rocks.

I just saw this today. LOVE. There's nothing like a B-monster movie with Gremlins-style wit to get me giggling like a school boy.
