Great first review, dear boy. And you needn't have worried about the brutal hazing ceremony known as CHUD Captions - the Margot Kidder one had me spitting out my Shreddies.

Yes nice job overall. A classic such as this film deserves an allstar DVD treatment.

Now if Criterion could actually somehow make more of their sold out series....

Lovely stuff.

I'm fortunate enough to have the Criterion version (which, just to piss everyone off, I got for a measily UK£5) and while it's great to have the Woo commentary, the presentation couod be better. HK Legends are god sends for HK lovers - they know how to make a pictyure look good and Bey Logan is always good for a hour or so's chat. Dman straight he knows his stuff.

Wasn't going to pick this up, but after Fett's great review here...looks like I'll have to.

This was the easiest review I've had to write for ages, probably due to the superiority of the film.

I have the Criterion CAV laserdisc, the Fox Lorber DVD and VHS. As a completist nut, I might have to get the HKLegends DVD as well after hearing so many positive feedback on it.

Loved the "Hey, you're not my tailor!" caption.
