this is something i have never seen, but now i think i know what i'll be watching this weekend. i'm not a big hitchcock fan. i loved 'the birds' and 'psycho', but i have no love for 'vertigo'. i still need to see a couple of the other classic hitchcock... i know, i know...

I remeber not liking this movie much when I first saw it (in my teens). I rented a lot of Hitchcock stuff one summer, and felt that 'style over substance' best described this one.

However, based on your enthusiastic review we'll be watching Spellbound this weekend.

Heather Graham's eyes...hilarious. Watched Swingers again last week and my brother-in-law made a similar observation about their 'alignment'.

One of your better reviews, Steve. Good work.

The Hollow Man cap was rather subtle. It took me a minute to figure out what was going on.

Thanks for the kind words.

The movie is very slow, and I wasn't entirely sure I liked it much until the last 15-20 minutes. That's what sealed the deal for me.

Good caps and review, Steve.

I think I'm the only one who's getting tired of the Hollow Man jokes. Otherwise, excellent review.

Lovely. My next three reviews are almost done and I didn't do an HM jokes, but damn... even I can't do them?

On a related note, Tony's next review has... you guessed it... a HM joke, except he did ask beforehand.

This is a Hitch film that I've been meaning to see for a long time. Nice review.

And as for Hollow Man jokes - I still like 'em alright, but I'm beginning to enjoy the more creative spins on the idea more (i.e., "The Hollow Horse").
